Welcome back to another video, everyone. So in this video, I'm going to show you my thought process behind one of my trades I just made. I traded stock, Apple. I traded Apple's options, right? I scalped it. I got in and out under one minute. This is my trade. If you guys take a look right here, this is my order execution. Got in, got out. You can see under one minute. I'm gonna show you my full trade, how I made it, what my thought process was. I recorded it live. But before I show you that, what I want to explain is what I use. The first thing I use is I was watching the market. I saw the market sold off. Market was holding. As the market sold off and the market was holding, Apple didn't react. Usually what happens with Apple, what I've noticed is Apple tends to fall very aggressively alongside with the market. It didn't fall level 2 and time and sales showcased that people were very aggressive on buying. And as I saw that as and Apple was holding, Apple became a target. Apple became a stock that I started watching. That was a stock that was hot at the moment for me to quickly scalp. Now, as I was watching Apple and the market showcase that it's slowly picking up, I was watching level two and time and sales, which showed me that Apple looks very strong on popping and breaking that 236mark, as I saw, is breaking 236. I then entered the trade. I tried entering the trade two times on my active trader. Obviously, the premiums moved up very, very quick. So I didn't get the best fill possible. If I did get a better fill, I would have probably made $1,000 in the trade instead of 400. But I got in a little bit late. Usually if I get into a trade and I start chasing, I kind of step away. But in this situation, I saw how strong L2 and time and sales looked for the moment, so I got in. Why did I get out? Because a, the market did not look as strong as it did. And. And I didn't really believe that the market was going to reverse. And obviously my game plan was just to make 10 or 20 cents on the trade. Why? Because the market today is extremely choppy. Since the market is extremely choppy, I'm not comfortable in holding a play for a long period of time. And you as a trader need to understand these things. If the market is choppy, you need to take profits off the table very quickly. The market isn't choppy. It's giving you some sort of direction. Cool. Hold the trade for a Little bit longer. And I basically got in here and I basically got out there. Right. If I stayed in a little bit longer, I would have failed. Now if you missed this trade, I would recommend waiting for the pullback and seeing if it continues. Right. And even as it continues, I would want the market to hold. And you can see the market is continuously making lower lows. So in the video you're going to see my full thought process and you'll see how I got in, how I got out and what I was thinking and what I was looking at. So I hope you enjoy. So see, Apple is like it's holding right now.
You see what I'm talking about, right? Apple's holding. It's in a consolidation phase, but at the moment there's no trade. So I have my 235 calls open. The market is still going down. That's not a good sign. See Spy right now. And yes, they're still going down. That's obviously never a good sign.
Let's see Netflix.
Oh wow, Netflix. What a great short.
3 point move down on Netflix, bro.
Apple is holding. That's the only thing.
All right, so we got Spy right here watching Apple. Let's see what happens. And we're probably going to play 30 contracts on Apple.
I, I, I, I don't like, I don't like Spy, bro. I don't like the market.
Yeah, market. Market took a dump. It looks like it's about to take another dump right now. Apple's holding strong. That's why I like Apple. Because if the market starts reversing or goes up, Apple's gonna it.
That 236 break on Apple, bro. The L2 on Apple looks very, very strong as well. Right? See the, see the ask. Ask keeps getting hit. A lot of size in the Ask. That's strong, right? Looks very, very good on Apple. And Apple's holding. Obviously if someone takes the rug out of the table, under the table, shit's gonna fall. Market is picking up. Strong sign for Apple. I'm probably going to go in 30 contracts.
Look on the downside. Look on the upside. I think, I think we see we're about to see a pop. I'm going to get in 120. 121. Boom. Nope. No fill. Damn. 123. Boom. No fill. Damn, I missed it. That's. Let's chase 130. Got in at 129. It's fluctuating.
Strong move up. Still going, still going, still going. L2 looks extremely strong. Markets also picking up, giving Apple that strong push. Premiums are taking a small hit on every move down. So I'm probably going to capitalize on the next. Nice, strong move up. Just having a small pullback. Nothing to be afraid of. We got 21 seconds on the candle.
Right. I'm probably going to try to capture 5.10cents on this, on this, on the scalp. Let's look at my position. Up 180. Up 200 bucks. All right. 138L2 still looks strong. No need to panic. Let's say 140. 140. Boom. 142. Market makers pushed it down. I'm out. I caught a 10 cent scalp.390 right there on apple.
