A short YouTube trading tutorial by Tori Trades (uploaded by Kardec Trader) explaining how to manage sell orders using trend lines and trailing stop losses. Tori describes entering at the trend line, placing an initial stop at the line (the 'safety line'), moving the stop into profit as price creates new touchpoints and falls off, and timing guideline examples (e.g., moving the stop roughly every day or after ~4 hours on an hourly chart).

So when we're taking a sell order, we're thinking price is going to respect this line. We're anticipating that this is the new trend. And let's say that this is where we got in. This is also going to be where our stop goes. And then as price progresses, creates this new touch point and falls off. Now we get to move this stop into profit. This is essentially the stop price broke through the line that's keeping me safe, the safety line. And I know, okay, well this isn't the new trend. Actually this was just a fake out maybe. And maybe we continue up. The stop will always trail in the direction of the trend line. So as price progresses now it's even more in profit. And if we're trading the hour time frame, I'll move this stop every maybe day or so. The time in between here could be like four hours. Four hours? Four hours. Four. This would be like an entire day goes by, then I'll move the stop. And then at this point here, the stop gets moved and hit. The coolest part is being able to get into a trade and the first thing is being able to have a stop and break even. So the trend line bounces. The lowest risk possible scenario for my trading style because we get in right at the line. So we're going to know pretty immediately if this is going to respect it or not. Yeah. So if this was just a fake out and price breaks out and we got in, then we're going to know pretty instilling and the smallest amount of a loss here because this is the line keeping us safe.
