Kardec Trader shows how to spot retrace entries by reading candle wicks and volume profiles. An extended wick signals intra-candle volatility that often leads the next candle to retest the low, where volume clusters create sticky zones that traders typically miss.

Do you have a specific scenario where you might look for a retrace entry? The classic example is really, anytime you have a really long wick on nq, few of these are different types of candles that we'll get. Anytime you get a really extended wick like this in the market, intuitively you should think about the fact that within this time frame, let's imagine that this is an up candle. So the market opened here. At some point in opening, it raced all the way down here and closed up here. That's crazy. That's nuts. There was so much volatility versus the story of this candle. The market opened here, it went down and went up closed here. So this is a very volatile candle. And so if we think about the fact that that's volatile, what we can expect to happen in this next candle, even though this is an up candle, is we'll probably get something. It's going to retest this and the vp, by the way, at the same time. You'll see that this is like low value, and then it'll be like higher value over there. So we have our histogram here. These are bars, and you can literally see how people are positioned. And so the price will race through low value. It'll come back up where it's sticky, and then it will feed you higher.
