Kardec Trader explains why most traders miss the best moves by starting too late. Trading small-cap stocks in pre-market hours around 4-6am gives you time to catch fades before the crowd arrives. After noon, edges disappear due to manipulation and crowding, so he stops trading by 12pm.

What I found is that the earlier the pattern, the better, especially for these backside patterns. So if it's like 4am, which is the pre market open, from 4am to 6am is the ideal time to get these kinds of moves, because you have the most time to allow it to fade. If you're going to hold till end of day, that's almost, you know, 10 hours plus. So I found that the earlier time frames produce the largest wins, whereas after 12 noon, the edges reduced, there's more crowding in the market at that time, there's a little bit more manipulation, and you have less time for the pattern to work. In these patterns, these small cap patterns, time is your friend. The more time you have. Like if you're swinging these for weeks, your expectancy will be increased. So the earlier trades are the best. After 12, I, I kind of shut it down.
