My Simple 1-Minute Scalping Strategy for $10,000/Month

Kardec Trader shows a 1-minute scalping strategy using market-profile levels from the previous day: value-area high, equilibrium point, and single-print zones. He enters on breakouts above the value area, targets the equilibrium edge, and stops below the recent low. You need about 60% win rate to break even.

My simple scalping strategy on the 1-minute chart. The 1-minute chart is where most traders burn through their money. They use 10 indicators, sometimes even more, and are always afraid of missing out. I've studied this behavior for years, and I've come to a conclusion: even in scalping, less is more. The more tools you have on your chart, the less you'll be able to identify what's actually affecting In this video, I'll show you why 90% of scalpers lose on the 1-minute chart, what you really need to have on your chart instead, the exact entry technique, and I'll also show you my full setup from the initial preparation all the way to the final exit, which you are more than welcome to replicate.
Look here, for example, we have a very simple 1-minute chart on the S&P 500. And the question is always, what even is a setup? Now, for example, a setup could be a nice P, like the one I'm showing you here, yeah, from the PBD structure. You can definitely use that. But, and there's a very big but, and that's the problem, that many people prepare this incorrectly. If you now consider making your purchase here, with this closing price, for example, outside in the price range at 7,482. Now the big question is, what's in the way? Now some traders think, yeah, the highs are in the way here. Yeah, no, large market participants care relatively little about that, although there's often a brief reaction, but it's not that important. Much, much, much more important is what I'm showing you now. When we look for trades on the 1-minute chart, we always look at what is the context. And we determine the context through market profiling. And this here is, for example, a market profile chart where you can read how the market traded during the cash session, the main trading hours. You can see it here. Here was the market opening from the previous day. The market ran down, ran up, and established its balance up here. Additionally, it also established a so-called single print area here where a lot of strength is to be expected. So, if we take a moment to look at exactly where we find ourselves right now, I can see immediately that we are simply not yet above the equilibrium point. It is clear we have more ground to cover. Here is the equilibrium from the previous day. And the market always strives to stay in equilibrium at first. So if I now book this trade here, as I just showed, I can plan it up to the upper edge of the equilibrium. Now let's look at this together and say, this might not be a stupid concept, and recognize that 785 is the equilibrium limit. So now I have a trade that I can plan from, well, not even $3, $2.75, and that's the profit range I should plan now. And that's exactly what traders always fall for, and I want to show you why. Look, here you can see exactly what happened there. Because please remember, equilibrium was at 7485, and the market reached this target. Here was the entry, yeah, and here was the equilibrium. So to take your exit. Now, many traders have this idea that the market should, of course, keep running much further. And I don't think this idea is good, nor is it effective. Why is that? And that's why you must, even if you trade on the 1-minute chart, always understand the context. Only when the market clearly demonstrates to you above this specific level that it truly finds solid acceptance can a significantly longer distance upwards be realistically planned and a much faster, more decisive breakout be anticipated. And then you can, for example, with such a reliable setup or a stable balance forming above this area, wonderfully find new high-probability acceptance on the 1-minute chart, which really helps confirm your next move. And all of a sudden, you have a strategy that is totally simple, but it is effective. But why is this strategy not effective here? And that's what I want to show you. Look, this is your profit target range. And now, the question is always, where do I take the risk? And most traders on the 1-minute chart take the risk below the last low. That is the risk. And you can already see here, the loss distance compared to the profit distance is even larger. The risk-reward ratio is somewhere in the range of 0.8 here, yeah. So, that means, for such a trade, you need a win rate of at least a good 60% to even be at break-even with many, many trades. And that is not effective at all. And that's the problem that many traders who are active on the 1-minute chart, especially if they work with some indicators here, that they trade Constantly, they trade here and here. For example, is a nice picture. Yeah. Here we also have liquidity. Oh, stopped out. Yeah.
Above here.
Oh, now it's running. Oh, it's not running after all. Oh, it's finally running. Oh, it's not running after all. It's not running. Stopped out again.
Yeah.
That's the problem many traders have: that they don't determine beforehand where fast movements of a short-term nature even make sense. And I want to show you that now and also prove that it's totally important to select that correctly. I'm just going to go ahead and do a very simple thing right now, and I will write here value area high previous day. It is a straightforward process that helps keep our chart analysis clean and organized, and the whole model is as simple as I'm describing it right now. So, that was my boundary, where we could see with this trade here, that the market bounced off here and thus had a very poor risk-reward ratio. So, what does the market do then? And that is something very nice. It has an accumulation station here, right below the equilibrium. Now, it is entirely possible that the price might move back down for a retest, but please remember that significant buying power entered the market right here. And as long as this specific price range, this new level of market acceptance, holds firm, the probability remains much higher. Since the asset has successfully established a new equilibrium up here, the technical outlook suggests that it will likely continue to trend long from this point forward. So, and now comes the really exciting part. Take a look. Here we suddenly have another nice entry signal above the value area, and we already had a signal here that the market is breaking out of this range. This signal right here, I'm going to make it very thick and bold for you, is the specific signal that, for you as a short-term 1-minute scalper, is a truly great technical signal. It really gives you the clarity you need to trade with confidence. Because there, you have the opportunity to suddenly do this. You have a much more predictable profit run.
Why?
Because the probability is higher that the market moves out of equilibrium, and in terms of risk, for those who understand the concept, you're out relatively quickly down here if the market accepts the old equilibrium again. You thus have a higher average win rate. You have a critical logical level that has now truly been broken, which is unfortunately leading the entire market into a chaotic state of significant disequilibrium. Causing uncertainty for all the traders involved in this specific sector. And that's the most important thing. You also have a mathematical advantage. So even with just a 50 or 60% win rate, you can make money with this. Now you have to decide one thing for yourself, and this is very, very important. You have to make the decision: Do I have the patience to wait for exactly these kinds of mechanisms? Do I truly possess the necessary patience to refrain from having already attempted 20 impulsive trades within this specific price range simply because I find myself trading somewhere in the middle of the action? And do I really honestly wait consistently for that critical level where the market finally signals to me, yeah, if it breaks above this point, then I am officially leaving the previous equilibrium area? It is a specific price level. Which, watch out, I have very cleverly and carefully predefined here in my context. But am I disciplined enough to actually let the market come to me instead of forcing the trade? This means this upper edge here shows me that the market is becoming unbalanced, just like here. And so with this specific trade setup, I find that I have a much better chance of success in direct relation To the risk I am taking, this approach will significantly increase my overall hit rate, and at the same time, it will improve my risk-reward ratio, especially if I clearly define where I am getting out of the position. And above all, it will drastically increase my confidence to execute a trade that isn't just gambling somewhere in the middle of the chart, but rather one that breaks out at a very logical, well-defined price level, where the market simply jumps into a zone of illiquidity. Giving me a much higher probability of a favorable outcome. And that's all. Less is more, that's a really great concept, and you have to evaluate for yourself whether it might not make sense to leave out all this indicator nonsense and so on, because no indicator in the world would have signaled a breakout to you here, and also said, this is the right moment. Now you can of course say, yes, but if I look back, something would have crossed here at some point, and so on. All well and good, but this is really a very sensible approach, and I hope for you that you enjoyed being able to put this simple sensibility into practice for yourself. Think hard about that. It's really a nice concept, and I enjoyed conveying that to you here.
