A trading coach advises new traders to avoid 'strategy hopping' across group chats, markets, and methods. The core recommendation is to focus on one market and one consistent trading approach rather than spreading attention across multiple strategies.
Chapters
When I see traders strategy hop early on, go from group chat to group chat, go from market to market, go from different ways of trading over and over again in a short period of time, that, to me, is where I'm immediately like, I don't think this trader is going to make it because they're unable to find one consistent way of trading that they narrow down in. They spread themselves all over the place where they focus on different strategies, different rules, different things, and they don't know what direction to go in. And I think the biggest thing new traders need to focus on is focusing on one direction of one market, understanding one way of trading and not spreading themselves too thin.
