A short YouTube monologue by Kardec Trader reflecting on early impulsive trading habits and advising a long-term (10–30 year) trading mindset. In my early days of trading, oh, I had such a hard time sitting cash. If I'm in front of my computer for 30 minutes, I have to, I have to put on a trade, I have to hit the buy or sell button. It's just, it's just something I have. Even if it's one share, one contract, one whatever, I have to take the trade. You're trying to be here for the next decade and to do that you have to think in that department, you can't trade like you only have one month left to trade. You have to trade like, hey, I'm going to be here for the next 10, 20, 30 years hopefully. And if that's how you want to trade, and if that's how you want to be, then your trading has to mirror that. Your risk has to mirror that. Your aggressive action of executing has to mirror that. Right? You sitting in your hands has to mirror that. Your patience has to mirror that. And when you think about the 10 year journey or 10 year roadmap, you know, doing those things becomes a lot more easier.
