A short segment from a trading-focused video explaining that the market's effective 'open' can be delayed by large institutional orders which are executed minutes after 9:30am (commonly around 9:37–9:41), producing significant sell pressure and repeatable intraday setups that traders can exploit by increasing position size. The speaker frames these late fills as anomalies that, when consistent, create profitable trading opportunities.

Sometimes the market doesn't really open at 9:30am what happens is there's particular days that some orders need to get filled, really large orders. So those orders cannot get filled right on the open. So a lot of traders on the floor, institutions that need to kind of offload 2 million shares, 3 million shares, they'll sell it, send it to someone on the floor and they're like, I need to offload this in the open. They're not going to do it on the open. And they're like, shit, we need to wait a little bit and you'll see action picks up. And then 9:37, 9:38, 941 is when they start offloading and the price starts dumping. So when you see that happen, that's where that big sell pressure comes in from. I got you. Okay. That's also something, something like I start looking into and from like a dynamic risk, risk point of view, I kid you not. I just. All in all really, just like heavy in. And I. Those are days I have big trades. But these are like those anomalies of finding things in the market that you see consistently. And when you see it consistently enough, making money from the markets becomes a lot easier. Because it's like that one setup, one trade, you see it happen, it's repeated. What's the difference of me making a thousand or a hundred thousand? More size, going with more size.
