The Trading Desk of Champions (This Is How the Top 1% Really Trade)

In this instructional video, the presenters walk viewers through the construction and use of a high‑performance trading desk designed for short‑term, dynamic setups. They outline a three‑part workflow: (1) assessing overall trend structure and weekly market profiles—including VPOC behavior, double distributions, and single prints—to gauge liquidity and potential imbalances; (2) drilling down to intraday profiles to mark support/resistance zones and set precise entry signals; and (3) monitoring real‑time order flow using footprint charts and the live order book to confirm price acceptance and liquidity dynamics. The speakers demonstrate how to apply this process across multiple instruments (crude oil, NASDAQ, S&P, gold, Euro Stoxx) during the US session, emphasizing quick, repeatable analysis that can be completed in 5‑10 minutes per market. The video concludes with a call to action for future content on counter‑trend, breakout, and trend‑following setups.

The trading desk of the World Cup Championships traders. How you will be able to build a nice trading desk for yourself, how you can use it, especially if you like dynamic setups in trading. I will give you all my information and explain you how I work with my trading desk with the red line. I explain it a lot of people, for example Patrick Nilsen, the two-time championships of trading leader in the World Cup Championships of trading. Other people like Christoph Radeker are all people. I explained my knowledge, and some of them use a lot of things I explain you today.
Well, dear friends, what I really want to show you today is to give you a deeper insight into how we at Trade the Traders, but especially in short-term trading, plan our trades. I'm not here to show you some fancy super indicators, but rather how we connect the dynamic context and then use the order flow to get the timing right. And that's quite exciting. The first thing we do is look for locations that are interesting. The second thing we do is always look for when markets go out of balance or return to an old balance. The market shows us that. How can we see that? Through footprint charts, through market acceptance, or rather price acceptance. And thirdly, what is the market speed? And this trilogy, when we bring it all together, that's when we've won. And I'll make it very simple today, quick and dirty. So that you immediately understand what I'm talking about. Look, the first thing I always do in the morning, basically, is I get a picture of the trend structure, as you can see here, for example. Here we had a really fast trend, very often the case that the market goes back there. That was a wonderful gap that we had, and now the whole thing is moving back up again. Is that somehow strange? Is there anything weird? No, not at all. Why not? Because second, look, what about the volumes? And here I see immediately, they were traded relatively evenly at the top. That means the rise is supported by liquidity. Although I can see that the highest liquidity is down here, what's moving up isn't a complete lack of liquidity, and that is important for me. What is the second thing I do? That was number one. The second look from my trading desk is here. I look at the weekly profiles. Why the weekly profiles? Because large market participants need time and they look at longer periods. And what you can always observe very well here, for example, is how the VPOC behaves in a trend. And here you can already see that, and I've mentioned this before, the balance, despite swinging down sharply at times, is situated quite high up across all the weekly candles. And then we have a beautiful, what's called a double distribution here. And what information does this double distribution give me? I need to know that before the week starts. And then you can already see it here, alright. This upper balance, which is distinct, and the lower one, which is also distinct, were both aggressively bought. And now comes the next information, and that is even more crucial for me. We have quite a lot of single prints here. And there are really many— this means the market really struggled here, especially when it came to the underlying fundamental factors. Because one thing is absolutely certain: a lot of people took short positions here, and they have now abandoned those positions. What does that mean for me? I have to check how much liquidity is flowing into the short squeeze, and when does it stop. Let's move on. It's not just a short squeeze, it's also important to remember that many people who are active in the investment sector have gone risk-on here again. Because there too we could see via our investment matrix that risk-on is back in style. But let's move on. I said we'd keep it simple. Point 3. Here I now have the opportunity to establish my business zones using the intraday profiles. Yes. Where was the market imbalance? Where was there imbalance? Are there old single print areas that need to be repaired? And these support-resist levels, I simply transfer them into my smaller charts. And that way I don't have so much information that I have to use all at once. That also helps me with timing, so I can say, okay, I'll set a signal here, I'll set a signal here. What's important is these signals help me when I know, ah, here I expect a trend continuation, for example. Uh, here I expect a counter move first, for example. I'll make a quick note of that, and then I have the chance to take a look. And now we come to image number 5. I skipped 4. 4 is this one up here where I just mark my levels so that I can see them. Image number 5 shows me how liquidity is being played. Is it rising, or has the liquidity been up here the whole time? And when the market came down, there was only a short, quick move, a lack of liquidity, and liquidity went back up again. And as long as I see that, I have a big advantage here too, because I understand that buying is really stable. Now you can also look at the Delta and so on, but I'm deliberately leaving that out for now because you can keep it simple. And in the final step, I look at how the book, the order book, behaves in combination with the corresponding traded volume that I see here from the footprint chart. That means I see what has already happened, and I see now in the order book what is happening right now. So, and now I'll jump over and show you what the trading desk looks like in the end, because you've seen an analysis like this takes maybe 5 minutes per market, maybe 10 depending on how much you prepare. But now I can remember the levels, and now we're in the pure naked order books. I can remember the levels from 4. For example, let's say we did that with crude oil, we did that with NASDAQ, then we did it with the S&P, and maybe also with gold. So now I've carefully prepared these 4 markets for the US session, and I know exactly what to expect at each price level. In the next step, what I am going to do is go ahead and say, all right, so when it comes to European markets, I'll be the one to take this particular task. I'll take the Euro Stoxx, and I'll make sure to prepare these accordingly, making sure everything is set up just right for the next phase with the levels, the volumes, the trend logics, the setups. And then I know exactly where I have which route planning from the first analysis and what I expect at which price ranges. So, and now for the final part. Now I just have to wait and see if the market provides me with the corresponding signals in the book. Where will the market strive dynamically, or where will there also be absorption? That means, where does the market stop? Where do I see that liquidity is being played, but it's not going any further? Or, and this is something I'd like to show you briefly here, where do I have indications, for example, big orders in the book, so large thick orders where I already know that the probability is very high that it will drive the market further up because it likes these big orders. It likes to flow towards liquidity. And what I also always see in the order book, of course, is the volume profile of the current day. But let's wrap it up here. That was the overview. How can I plan that? What can I see? In the next video, I'd like to show you a bit more about how I use a counter setup. What possibilities does that give me? Or also a breakout or trend following setup. And if you're interested in that, if you like it, leave me a like, and then I'll prepare that for you. On that note, have a great time, good trades. I hope this helped you get a quick overview of how easily you can locate at which price levels we expect setups, dynamic or even lethargic ones. Which then show us, ah, counter-trading is called for here. On that note, leave me a like and see you soon. Bye everyone!
