Kardec Trader shows how to short parabolic moves on the backside rather than at the spike. Wait for topping candles and declining volume, enter on a flag break, target 20-30% gains, and add on the way down. Backtest data shows typical 50% retracements.

This one here was a parabolic backside short. So instead of trying to guess the top and short into the first parabolic spike, I'm looking to wait for a bit of a topping candles. This wick right here kind of confirms that it's failing. And then you'll also have volume profile that's declining as this comes down. And then you want to add on the way down to maximize your return. Once it's confirmed, you can kind of see a flag right here. And on this flag break right here, it would probably be a dead pattern if it was going to break to the upside, then I might cut the position as it's reclaiming. But right here, you enter on the backside pair and you have this flag here that's broken on this candle, and you look to hit a pop. I'm not just slamming the lows out. It breaks this camp right. I'm waiting for a pop so I can get in on a high and then cover on the next candle. Because, look, if you look at this move, it's almost a 50 retracement from the highs. And that element of knowing that data comes from that back test. Yeah, 100. So it also helps with your coverage targets. Knowing, okay, we're in the green 20 to 30%. How much more can we expect on this? Where can we expect to bounce, what the volume profile should look like? If any of these things are outliers based on the normal pattern of the ADF or MOP and draw pattern, then we might change our approach or downsize, take shares off. So that's the freedom that we have now with the hybrid approach.
