Backtest is everything. It's the validation of your edge. It's the response of what you were doing makes money or not. So you have to be really serious about that. Backtest is like your trust. You can trust your backtest. You cannot trust a feeling. People do backtests for experience in the market. That's not what I do. I search for the condition, see for market structure. You objectify in order that in every backtest it's the same. It's the main validation of the strategy.
