Great traders label their trades before entering: zero-print, market-structure demand, a specific playbook. If you can't journal it immediately and explain why, don't take it. Clear reasoning separates good traders from the rest.
Before I take a trade, if I can't tell myself the trade that I'm taking and I can't give it a label, or I can't say, okay, this is a zero print trade, or this is a market structure demand trade, or a specific playbook, I have no business taking it.
I have a rule. If you cannot journal immediately and you need to think why you are taking it later, don't take it because there is no reason.
There's no reason. I'm sure if everybody watching this had Fabio and Carmine next to them and they could tell us why they're taking the trade, it would save a lot of trades that they should not be taking. You make one third of the execution.
But I think this is also because people approach trading as an income method. So they just need to pay the bills at the end of demand, so they force themselves to find opportunity that ends up in losing money because they are not respecting the model, so they are just gambling.
