A trading tutorial by Kardec Trader explaining where smart traders enter positions rather than at market highs. The speaker outlines three entry conditions—against the trend, with the trend, and a trend-line-break zone between them—and emphasizes waiting for confirmation (not entering at resistance) and reducing risk by entering after breakout confirmation or when price leaves choppy areas.

If I'm looking at any market, what areas can I consider trades? The three conditions that I work to are against the trend. With the trend. Against the trend. Probably the most aggressive with the trend. The biggest area within that move that you can consider trend line break. I refer to this as a little area that you can look for. That is before you get into the with the trend area. But after the against the trend area. So price comes up. This would be where I would consider an against the trend trade. Once the trend line gets broken. This little area here is where I would consider trend line break setup. The whole area below, below with the trend area. What about if the chart is choppy? That's still a with the trend area but I'm going to wait until price gets out of that way. So the idea being is how can I essentially take a little bit less risk and getting in right at a level a little bit more confirmation and potentially have a trade in this area here, but over time consider running that trade further. I don't necessarily want to get in at the resistance. I just want to wait for us to confirm that a little bit more.
