Markets are spending a lot of time in a sideways move. So you're creating areas of resistance and areas of support down here. There'll be times when markets will break that area and go higher. The idea that I had is how can I define specific areas within that move rather than simply just saying, well, I'm going to trade short upper areas of resistance and trade longer areas of support. How do I factor in that during a sideways move, there's a choppy area, there's a consolidation, there's a breakout, there's all these different things going on within that sideways move. So the idea was we would create what I call a discretionary analysis, this process. So what tools will give me the certain conditions, Support, resistance, trend lines, momentum, and then on top of that divergence, other things like sentiment. So the idea is, can I use these three tools to determine what condition that market is in and then use various filters to then look for potential trades?
