Short monologue advising traders to enforce a disciplined, repeatable trading framework to prevent greed-driven deviations. The speaker emphasizes prioritizing consistent, modest profits (e.g., a reliable $1,000) over occasional larger gains that violate risk rules and lead to large drawdowns.

We as humans are naturally greedy. I understand I'm greedy. When I. When I trade, I look at trades, I naturally go, well, if I bought a few more contracts, I would have made this much more. But at the same time, that's going outside of my risk element. That's going outside of my process, that's going outside of my framework. And that may work on that trade. Over 100 trades, it won't work. And one trade, when it gets hijacked the wrong way, will cause me to have a big drawdown. The idea there is how do we create a framework that allows me to have a repeatable process, and the repeatable process allows me to make money at a certain point. If your repeatable process is allowing you to make a thousand dollars, I'd rather make that thousand dollars day in and out, repeatedly, opposed to allowing my greed to hijack that process of wanting to make more.
