A trader shows how to measure the distance from a pattern's lowest point to a trendline, then use that same distance to predict where the next price drop will land. The technique is simple: find the low, measure up to the trendline, then project that distance downward to set your target.
Gotcha. And this happens over and over and over, and I believe it is the basis for all of the charts. And what happens is if you find the low on the candle that had the lowest low in this pattern and you measure from right here to the top of the trend line, so you want to go directly up this same candle, right, to right here, and you measure the price distance. Let's say this is $20. What you will find is the next move down will be this distance. So like this would even continue further down.
