THIS strategy puts you ahead of 99% of traders!

Tom argues that trading success requires reprogramming subconscious patterns, not just positive thinking. His four-stage model moves from recognizing responsibility through building conscious competence until trading decisions happen automatically in a flow state, free from fear and stress.

The right mindset, the holy grail in trading? Stop, forget that crap. A lot of people talk about mindset, but in the end, they don't even know what it is. A lot of people talk about having to anticipate something, about having a goal you work hard towards, but in the end, success doesn't come. I can promise you, in day trading, the proper organization of your subconscious abilities is the decisive factor that leads you to success.. And that is certainly not mindset, but rather a smart processing of your subconscious blockages and, above all, a consolidation of your strengths. And when those things are aligned, then you will have success. And that's exactly what I'm going to talk to you about today. Yes, who among you doesn't know this? You have the right strategy, or at least you think you do. You might even have a statistically significant edge in the markets based on the numbers. But still, you're not making any money. So, what's the truth behind this? The truth behind it is that, in most cases, you're simply not able to implement these strategies. I just showed a great example of intraday swing trading in one of my last videos where you can be profitable with a low hit rate. You can earn many times more than, for example, a scalper or a breakout trader. But why is this not possible for most people? I can explain that to you. The truth behind it is that your constitution, that is, the way you tick, your personality, is simply not capable of enduring such things. And I can promise you, I will tell you exactly why that is. It comes down to your hidden subconscious blockages, behavioral patterns, and beliefs that you have simply carried with you from the past. Because from early childhood on, we are led to believe that we can achieve anything with money. That wealth and money is the very elixir of our existence, which defines exactly who we are. It's money that makes it happen. And that's exactly what you have to distance yourself from in trading as well, because only when you understand that you can't buy everything with money, like your health for example, will you also realize that having an inner neutral attitude toward it is essential in trading. And how you achieve this inner neutral attitude, that varies greatly from person to person, I can only tell you the path that, in my opinion, is effective, and it's actually quite simple. First of all, take a look at yourself. How are you actually put together? For this, I developed the Trader DNA methodology, for example, which shows you, through a wonderful personality profile, how you tick and how you come across to others. And by now I've reached over 1,500 people with it who have told me very clearly that what this potential analysis revealed to them is 95% accurate. Now you might know how you tick. But do you know what subconscious blocks you have that are preventing you from being sustainably successful? No, you probably don't know that. You might have assumptions, you might have ideas, but I can tell you, it's very interesting. A friend of mine, a really great coach in the field of hypnosis, did some tests and found out that people come in with preconceived notions about where their problems come from. He told me very clearly that so far no one has really hit the nail on the head regarding what the real story behind it was. I found that very, very fascinating, and I can say that's almost always the case. The story behind why you have problems, why you have subconscious blockages, is usually very well hidden and has absolutely nothing to do with trading. And only when you have looked at this story and made peace with it will you be able to make money with it. I'd like to show you what, in my opinion, is the correct order here. Look, the first thing you need is to gain an insight that there is something holding you back from being successful. And that can be many different things. But first, you need to have the realization that this is the case. Many people are already missing this, because they look for the problem outside themselves. They look for who is to blame that their strategy isn't working. The market is to blame, or the technology is to blame, or the coach is to blame. No, the first realization must be, I myself am 100% responsible for the fact that what I have been doing so far is not effective or successful. Point 2 is awareness. Becoming aware that you have dysfunctional structures within yourself. That means the first thing you have to do is recognize that there is something that unconsciously isn't working for you. This means the first point in this model is, I have an unconscious pattern that is blocking me, and now, in the next step, I have to become consciously aware of this unconscious pattern. What does that mean? It means that unconscious incompetence becomes conscious incompetence. In plain terms, that means nothing other than I keep messing things up, and now I understand that I'm messing things up. But does that already get me to my goal? No. But you need to start dealing with this conscious incompetence. And that's where point 3 comes into play. Point 3 is the willingness to want to change something. No longer looking for answers outside, no longer blaming others, the markets, politics, Trump, or anywhere else. No, but to clearly say, all right, point 3 is now the point that will lead me to turn unconscious incompetence into conscious incompetence. And now, in the next step, I move forward and say, I am building a conscious competence. What does that mean? When I build conscious competence, you have to imagine it like this. During training, you first have to put in some effort and start sending new patterns to your brain's neural pathways. That simply means, for example, that you are now consciously aware that you have to start always leaving your stop losses where they belong. Then you have to do that. And you have to do it very, very, very often until your brain understands: this is good and it feels good. There is difficulty in this, and I can promise you, this is where the ping-pong game always begins. That means you do it with a lot of difficulty and effort, very, very often correctly, in quotation marks, and then you end up doing it wrong again. Once again, the ping-pong game starts. And now comes the result that you absolutely have to achieve in order to move forward in trading in a state of flow. And that is point 4. And point 4 is to turn a conscious competence, which requires a lot of work, into an unconscious competence. And when you've achieved that, the sun starts shining. Why does the sun shine then? I can tell you why. Because your brain works in such a way that you act from your subconscious 95% of the day. That means, just think about it. You drive a car, you ride a bike. Do you think about having to keep your balance? Do you think about the fact that you might need to press the clutch now before shifting gears? No, that all happens subconsciously. And that's how we humans are built, that we, 95% of the day, when we have over 60,000 thoughts running through us, sometimes even more, we do things unconsciously. Otherwise, we would go crazy if we had to think, "Ah, now I have to lift my hand," or, "Ah, now I have to lift my foot," while walking. No, these are subconscious programs that help us take action and do so functionally. That doesn't mean dysfunctional, like in point 1. Rather, it means acting functionally and unconsciously. And that is the goal we need to achieve in trading. And when we reach this goal, the sun shines, because we will never again unconsciously let ourselves be blinded by whether the market might be too high or too low. No, we are rational and we feel comfortable with it. And that's why point 4, which I'm about to present to you, is your game changer. What is it? What is the flow state? What is the basic tone? It's nothing other than being centered and being free. Free from stress, free from greed, free from fear. And to reach this state, you have to do quite a bit. And as a trader, you should basically ask yourself every morning, am I ready? Am I ready today for my job? Do I enjoy my job? And I also find that I feel absolutely no stress at all about having to make money on a daily basis. Be quiet about the outcome and still work in a goal-oriented way. Be disciplined without feeling stressed. These are the things you need to achieve. And I know that a lot of people just aren't up for it, especially in the trading space where people always say you just need the right strategy and then everything will be easy. No. Point 4, which I'm telling you here, the basic tone in trading, as we call it, is to build our state so that we're just cool with it and don't even think anymore about whether things are hard. That's what you need to achieve, and then your trading will run smoothly, and then you won't have weird things happening anymore, like having those kinds of equity curves, for example. Everything is going great, and now you want to be right, and then bang. If you bring yourself into this flow state every day, you'll eventually decide for yourself, today isn't going so well, so I'm going to do something good for myself and make sure I'm cool again. And that's also, for example, according to the reward principle, why people should do something completely different in trading than in many other life situations. In trading, you should reward yourself by doing something good for yourself when things are going badly. There's a huge difference between rewarding yourself for not sticking to your stop losses or for gambling and taking reckless risks. But if you have been disciplined, managed your risk, and had a clear plan, then when you take a break, actually stick to it and then do something good for yourself. So what happens then unconsciously Unconsciously, your brain gets programmed in the following way. You will come to fully realize and understand at a deep intrinsic level within your core that when you experience significant financial losses in the markets, you will no longer associate any sense of emotional pain with it. Because you engage in something beneficial for yourself and provide yourself with a reward, you don't end up making a negative commitment after a bad result. Instead, you choose to do something good for your well-being simply because you were disciplined and stayed focused. And if you keep doing this over and over again, your system will no longer be stressed about it. And that's why trading metrics are so incredibly important, so that you know your strategy, that you know yourself, and that you are aware of your patterns, and that you use your unconscious competencies from point 4 to move your trading business forward. I hope this has helped you. I hope that you can say to yourself, "Wow, Tom is saying something that is somehow true." And I am not just talking about this typical mindset talk that we often hear, where people claim, "I absolutely have to be super successful," and that this necessarily means working incredibly hard every single day and making thousands of different trades within a single month, and so on and so forth, and all of those other similar ideas. Stop doing that. First, just become aware that you might be doing things that are actually holding you back. And once you see that, be ready to tackle those things. Be ready to integrate this flow state for yourself. And how to do that? Yes, I have some great things prepared for that as well, which we can look at together in the coming weeks. Because one thing is crucial: without this flow state, I promise you, no trader in the world will be sustainably successful. I hope you enjoyed this. I hope this helped you move forward. And if it did, leave me a like. And I look forward to providing you with an even deeper understanding of the flow state in the next lessons. If you want that, write it in the comments. Thank you very much.
