Kardec Trader explains volume profile, which counts transactions at specific prices instead of aggregating volume over time. This helps traders spot which price levels matter most by showing where the most trading actually happened, not just when.

That's really, really key to trading the volume profile. Let's talk about what the volume profile is. The volume profile tells us how many people transacted at a price at the bottom. We often think of volume across time. So we might have 9am and 10am market opens at the middle part, 9:30am, 9am you might have this much volume and at 10am we have this much volume. So a lot of people will look at this change in volume and track volume deltas. But what if I asked a different question, right? Maybe we're trading in queue and I said, hey, I don't really care how much volume was transacted at 10am what if I said how many people transacted at 20,000, so maybe there' price right here. Or if I said how many people transacted at 18,000 so not at 9am, not at 10am across all of time. Or I might ask a different question. How many people transacted at 18,000 from the time period of 9 to 10am? So it's a very different way to think of volume, but what it allows us to do is get intuition about which prices are stickier or more important than others.
