So after I'm done with any trading session be it I make money, I lose money or even if I don't take a trade I still go and I journal my day. What were my pre market notes? What was my game plan? Sometimes my pre market game plan is something that the market didn't do. I have a bad read on the market so what did I miss out on? And I look at it from a different lens because when you're in front of the computer you're essentially a different person than when you're off the computer. My thought process and mental aspect when I'm in front of a computer is going to be different. So when I journal and I go back to it and I reflect I'm able to puzzle the pieces together and look at the market from a different perspective and that gives me a new level of insight on me and the market and then I'm able to continue that into the next session next session, next session.
