Trader Self Development - Greg

Greg took Randy's trader self-development course and credits twice-daily meditations and exercises with overcoming impulsiveness, FOMO, and low confidence. He learned to recognize inner personalities like the orphan and inner critic, then deliberately activate his disciplined ruler persona to make clearer trading decisions.

Before I started working with Randy, I was all over the place. I wasn't very organized. I had fear of missing out, of just not having self confidence, being impulsive. I think I committed a lot of the mistakes that new and some of the more experienced traders do. But the main thing in my mind was just being lost, having the feeling of not being nowhere close in control and not having a direction.
The course that Randy took me through.
Look at the beginning. It's just one of those things that you have to trust the process. You don't know what's going to happen. You have to put the work in because to me it's an experiential process. You, you do the exercises that Randy says if you have to do a meditation twice a day for five days, you just have to do it. More is better, but you just have to just go through the process and over time things just change. One of the things is that my mind became more clear by having the understanding that I am not one person. I am a number of personalities. I have the orphan inner critic, the warrior, the sage first recognizing it. I've read about it before. But doing the actual exercises with Randy makes you.
Kind of internalize it. You know what it is and you experience it yourself. So then you own it. And once you own it, you want to have this realization that yes, this is how your mind works. Then you learn how to bring in the personality that you want at the particular time. So going forward, my ruler was quite weak and so my discipline was suffering. Now I'm calling on my ruler much more frequently and do it in a conscious way. So when I say, well, what's going on here? Ah, the ruler is not on stage. Well, let's get him back and let's see what I need to do in this situation.
Whether it is being in making a decision or to do with trading or something else. So I think.
In a brief summary, I feel the lightness. I just feel that something has lifted of my mind, of my being and the kind of fog has dispersed quite a lot. And I feel that I'm kind of more on purpose. I know.
The direction I want to be heading in and what I want to achieve and how I'm going to achieve it.
