Two traders explain how they built strategies by manually charting patterns and searching for repetitive clusters. Speaker B loaded two weeks of one-minute data on old software, developed a breakout strategy, then added daily and 15-minute structures with support/resistance and volume analysis. They read news like ADP reports to predict reactions, but note that market behavior has shifted over time.

Exactly what were you doing? Were you learning a lot or just questioning price looking for answers? What was your approach to build?
In the first time I got a software it was so old. I remember I put back two weeks of one minute charts. And then I go and tap it and tap it and tap and look for clusters it looks like for repetitive patterns. But just going through charts manually. And then I think okay, I have seen it before, I've seen it before. I've seen it before and I have a breakout strategy. And I see okay, when the lows is above this and blah blah blah blah blah. And I spent a lot of time because I think the technical part is important part to trade. That was the first time. Then I see okay, it's not so easy. And then I build structures in the daily chart and support resist with closing prices. And I take 15 minute charts and look what happened on the closing prices. When there's one to three formation, for example. And then I write for me all the time I look back, but you know it and I know it today. This is bullshit because the markets will change and nothing is like before. And then I take the part of the volume together to it and I see okay, every time when the markets flip, the volume is big, but on the top. When you look deeper into the markets, there is no volume. I I look for news, I read news built for me ideas what happened when this news come? When this news come. It was a big difference as today. And this time when they come ADP like this, you become in the forex market so much ways you can make a limit order over the market 100 pips and under the market 100 pips it comes back. It's totally another way like today. And all these things I built in structures for me.
