Kardec Trader explains why he avoids forex trading and prefers centralized exchanges like stocks and futures instead. He breaks down the key differences between these markets and shares what makes him choose other options.
When it comes to trading, how many different markets are there to trade in?
Sure.
And is Forex the same as normal trading or is that completely separate?
The concept is the same, right? Because you could be trading a stock, you could be trading futures, you could be trading options, you can be trading Forex. Like the concept is the same. You're buying something and selling it. Right. I'm personally not a fan of Forex. The reason I'm not a fan of Forex is because the Forex market is not centralized. So if you open up a broker and I open up a broker, we most likely will get different prices. You also can't see the order flow, flow of these trades. You also can't see the volume of these trades. The legitimate volume, the legitimate transactions. Now what I trade, I trade, let's say futures or I trade the stock market. Every transaction that goes on there is by a centralized exchange. So if you and I make a transaction to let's say you buy Apple, I sell Apple to you, you can see one transaction was done at this exact time in Forex. You can't see that.
