A trader walks through a short trade using a reverse-fork pattern, starting with 9 points of risk on two contracts. They scale out at incremental take-profit levels, move the stop to break-even after the first TP hits, and use seller pressure to guide further exits, reducing emotional decision-making.

Right now we're risking 9 points total on the 2 contracts. But my first take profit, I want it to be here. Hopefully we get that flush through these lows because this is the first point of interest I'm looking at that I think price will revert back into. And this is the second point of interest I think price will revert back into. A lot of things are working our way for the short side. Retesting this previous repair, reverse fork, like a reverse fork setup. Looks like our first TP is going to get hit. Hit here at 20. Okay, first TP is out. Beautiful. Getting out of that first one is great. At this point, we can move our stop to break even. I want to see sellers continue pushing. I want to see a break of that low. There we go. Break of that low. Continue. I want sellers to continue. Keep going. Keep going. Another break. And I'm— I'll take a momentum short. Both TPs at the same spot. I want sellers to keep pushing. Step on the gas, sellers. There we go. We're out.
