This YouTube monologue (Kardec Trader, June 30, 2023) argues that wanting wealth without a strong work ethic is futile. The speaker urges listeners to deliberately 'wire' their brains by doing things they hate (e.g., waking at 5am to run), using repeated exposure to hard tasks to build momentum, confidence, and the habit of stepping outside comfort zones to enable success.

Nothing pisses me off more when I speak to some people and they're like, oh, I want to be rich. And they don't have the work ethic for it. I'm like, you don't have the work ethic for it. They're like, yeah, I do. I was like, okay, name me three things you hate. I hate waking up in the morning. I hate going to the gym. I was like, okay, how about this? Every day at 5am, go for a run. Nah, that's hard. Exactly. Wire your brain to do the hard stuff, right? And once you wire your brain to do the hard stuff, everything becomes easy, right? Start going in for the pain and say, well, you know what? These are things I hate. I'm going to go and I'm going to do them, right? You start stepping out of your comfort zone. You start stepping out of an environment that's kind of locked you in. So find those things for people that are in, like, a weird stage. Find the things you hate. Let's say you hate waking up in the morning, go for a run, five in the morning, every day, I'm gonna wake up at five, go for a run, right? Be it two miles, be it one mile, whatever it is, just go for a run, right? And just find those things. And slowly and surely you start building this momentum and confidence, like, okay, I can do this, I can take care of this, I can do that. And you should start building massive momentum.
