If you're an ADHD business owner, then listen up. I have an amazing tool for you and hi. I help ADHD business owners make more money and less time with fewer distractions. I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and money mindset coach. Now this tool that I swear by for my newbie business owners is acuity scheduling. The number one reason I love acuity is it's amazing if you're booking sales calls through it. So when someone goes to book a sales call with you, you can set it up so that they have to answer a bunch of questions in an intake form, which helps you sor them out if they're not the right client for you before you even get on the phone with them. The other reason I love acuity is you can automate email reminders so when someone books on your calendar, you can remind them 24 hours, 12 hours and one hour ahead of time. You can of course adjust that to what you want, but that is my preference. The second reason why I love acuity is it's amazing at helping you manage your time better. You can set regular hours scheduling limits. You can also tell it how big of gaps you like in between calls. So personally I go nuts when there's like a half hour gap, an hour gap, another half hour gap because I have adhd. When I have a small gap in my calendar, I'm just in waiting mode, right? So I can set a preference for I don't want any small gaps, but I would love gaps of three hours or more. And in those three hours I know I can get a ton of work done. And the third reason why I love it is the subscription payments. So because I have ADHD and because my clients have adhd, one of the things that we never want to do is become a bookkeeper or someone who's chasing people down for money because what's going to happen, we're going to forget or we're going to avoid it because it's not a fun task. So using acuity you can set up a link so your clients can set up payment once and it's automated for the whole term of their contract, which means you get paid. There are so many more reasons why I love acuity scheduling. I'm not getting paid, by the way, by them for talking about this. It's just such an incredible tool.
