Anyone else have and ongoing beef with some bunnies?

Katie McManus describes her ongoing battle with her neighbor's escape artist bunnies, who dig tunnels under their enclosure and secondary tunnels under barriers. She's tried refilling holes and luring them out with treats, but mostly just ends up with bunny dirt kicked on her feet.
My neighbors are out of town right now, and I've been helping to take care of their pet bunnies and their chickens. And the bunnies and I are cool for the most part. These bunnies and I have, like, a special bond. I go and, like, hang out with them occasionally. I'll bring them, like, little scraps in the garden. They like me, but they are also escape artists, and they have decided that they want to try to tunnel out of their enclosure. Now, my neighbor is really smart. When he set up their enclosure, he set up like. Like netting, like, metal netting that, like, went all the way around the perimeter under the ground. So they're trying to, like, tunnel out of their enclosure, and they keep hitting this metal netting. And as I go over there and as I, like, feed them and give them water and, like, give them attention, I'm, like, kicking some of the dirt back in. Well, these bunnies are really fucking smart, okay? Because they've decided that they are not only just gonna dig this tunnel, they're gonna move all the dirt that they've just placed to the other side of their fucking enclosure. And so, like, it's not just as easy as, like, kicking the dirt back in. You now have to go with a shovel and shovel this dirt, carry it across their big enclosure, and try to shove it in the hole. Now, tonight. Tonight's the last night that I was watching them. My neighbors get back tonight, and I go over to feed them, and I'm looking at this tunnel that they're digging, but they've actually started a secondary tunnel that's going underneath the first tunnel. So these bunnies have figured out that there's a barrier, and they're like, cool. Bet we will just go deeper. So I'm in there, like, feeding them, giving them water, giving them pets, hanging out. We're having a grand old time. Then I'm like, cool, I'm gonna try to fill in this hole so they don't escape between today and tomorrow when my neighbor gets back. And so I'm, like, trying to shovel dirt in this hole, and the bunnies just decide, okay, well, we don't want you to do that, obviously, because they spent a lot of time on it, apparently. And so what do they do? They get in the fucking hole. So at this point, I'm like, obviously, I'm not gonna bury my neighbor's bunnies. So I had to, like, bribe them with treats. I had to go out into the garden. I had to get, like, special flowers and special grass things that they would want. I had to lure them out of this goddamn hole. And then I had to really quickly try to shovel it back in. And I got enough in that they couldn't go in the part of the hole that, like, they could disappear into. But as I'm trying to shovel the dirt back in, they finished their treats. They're coming over, and they've decided that they're just going to try to continue digging. As I'm filling it back in and I'm wearing flip flops. I wasn't planning on playing around with dirt and a shovel and these goddamn bunnies. They just decided they were going to dig and kick the dirt directly onto my feet. So now we're in a fight. And also, I had to take a second shower today because I was covered in bunny dirt, and that's gross.
