Hello. Hello, Hello.
How are you?
Good. Greetings from hot Austin.
Oh my God, you're in the States right now.
I just came yesterday. Last night.
Oh my God. Are you jet lagged?
A little bit. But what I'm trying to do is like, for example, I will, after lunch I'll stop working. So I'm trying to keep European hours so that I can talk to clients still. So I was up at like 5, 5:30 this morning. Um, and yeah, but when I landed I had a sweater and a jacket and people are looking like, where is this like person coming from? Because it was like 30 degrees when I landed. So.
Times two plus 32. Fuck. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Austin. I mean, the south is not my place. I'm. I'm not one that thrives in hot weather.
Yeah, no, I'm already like grumpy. What are you doing in Austin? My friend from college lives here and she randomly picked it because she's from New York and got sick of no. And just said it. Austin looks like a cool place on the map. And then just randomly moved here and has been here ever since. So I came to visit her. But I'm like, ew, I feel sticky. I don't like this.
I know. I've been to Austin once in, in August.
Oh.
Yeah, no, I'm good. Anyway, but anyway, what are you celebrating besides being. Well, not besides like, you know, the fact that you will return to Cool Place at some point.
Yes, exactly. So I'm looking forward to the fact that I am jet lagged. I was super productive before our call. I got quite a bit of stuff done. I'm super happy with the progress that I'm making with the virtual assistant that I hired. She's fabulous. I know that she's a bit pricey because people are like, you could have found someone from Vietnam that's super cheap. But it's someone that I trust. It's someone that's also in my same town. It's. And she does things super fast. I will just say, can emergency, can you do this? And she has it done and sends it back to me in 15 minutes. So it's just.
Yeah, yeah, I, you know, I think you're of the same mind. But like, there's always a cost to working with someone in a third world country where you're paying them very little. And, and it's cost of risk, it's cost of things going wrong and it's cost of like karma. Because just because they live in a third world country doesn't mean that like they can survive on how little people in the Western world are willing to pay them. Right.
And there's even, like. And that's the thing I've seen with cultural differences where people have hired people from countries that, you know, you don't pay a lot. And so then they get mad, saying, I asked the person to do this, and they didn't do it. And it's really that, you know, maybe that didn't understand exactly what you were asking for. Maybe. And even then, I just know because I've worked with so many different nationalities. Like, Indians are a common one. People like to hire, but they don't. It's not in character.
Oh, you're frozen. Hold on. Is it me or is it you? Susan, you there? Do this. Oh, if you can hear me. Oh.
Sa.
Oh.
It.
Hi.
Internet issues. Sorry.
Oh, no worries. I was literally about to look up, like, if there was a t. Tornado or something that hit Austin.
It's weird. Like, it went. Yeah, it just, like, went out, like, randomly, so.
Oh, weird. Okay. So how long are you in Austin for?
Just going to connect my Bluetooth. I am here until Tuesday.
Okay, cool. You know, here's something, kids. You're the only one in. In this program this month. If you want. If the WI fi is really glitchy on your end, we could always push it. Push this call back to next week if you want. It's up to you. It's up to you because, you know, like, I want to make sure you get the most out of the 90 minutes. And also, you know, if. If you're having Wi Fi issues.
Yeah. Let me just double check to see if it. Yeah, it didn't come back. Yeah. Do you mind? Is that annoying for you?
No. Are you kidding?
Not at all. Perfect.
And this basically just add it to next week on your calendar, and we'll just do this call next week.
Perfect. I was gonna ask you, is there any resources for next steps? So what I've been working on is kind of. I've been brainstorming, like, if I had an extra 10,000 each month, what's my reaction? How would I feel? What would I do with this? And it's interesting. Now that you posted, I just never thought, like, I couldn't blow this kind of money. So now I start to actually dream, like, oh, but I could do this or this. So that's interesting. Laziest way possible. I've been. Yeah. Thinking, like, how to do this if it takes too much time. I throw it now to the. The virtual assistant, because she does it in half the time I do. So it just makes sense.
Yeah.
And then the only thing I'm still kind of working through is am I attracting poor people or not? Because, like you said, sometimes you can not realize. So what I'm doing is now I've just been kind of doing the marketing stuff, and then I already updated my pricing. Is there anything else that you recommend for the next week that I look at or do?
Yeah. So one thing that I think would be really helpful for you to do is to go through, like, go through your life and pick out, like, five moments where you had to make a money decision. There was some kind of money situation. It could be, you know, buying groceries. It could be, you know, having to say no to someone if they asked you for money, whatever. And I want you to go through each one of these memories and identify, like, what your nurturer was doing in that moment, what your accumulator was doing in that moment, and what your alchemist was doing in that moment.
Okay.
Okay. And if you need to go back and watch those specific videos to get real, like, reminded of, you know, what the different aspects of those archetypes are, one of the things that's really important to start noticing in the moment for. For those to be at all impactful and you. Repairing your relationship with money is to start really seeing how they're playing a part and how they have played a part your whole life.
Right.
Because once you start noticing it in the past tense, you'll start noticing, okay, well, I'm at dinner, and, like, the. The bill's about to come, and how am I about to try to be in this moment? And who's. Who's trying to jump in right now? Is it my accumulator, my nurturer, my alchemist? Is it a combination of three? Am I in my power with them? You know, so, like, one of the questions you can ask as you're going through is, what was my nurturer afraid of? What did my nurturer want to get out of it? And what did my nurturer believe about the situation?
Okay.
All right. And if you start with five and you want to do more, then. Then go. Go for more. But I think starting with that and. And just continuing the work you're already doing, I think that would be great between this week and next week.
Okay, perfect.
All right, awesome.
Good, good.
Okay, great.
I will see you next week.
Okay, see you then. Have fun in Austin.
Thanks. Thanks. See you. Bye.
