A short motivational YouTube clip by Katie McManus advising business owners not to reduce marketing in December. She argues that people remain in buying mode during the holidays (buying presents and imagining goals for the next year), shares that December has repeatedly been her record-breaking month, and urges continued posting and promotion.
Don't believe the myth that December is a slow month, okay? If you're a business owner and this is like your first or second year, it's really tempting to think, oh, well, it's December. No one buys in September. I'm selling a service. People aren't thinking about that right now. Wrong. People are in buying mode. They're buying presents for other people. Do you know what I do when I go and buy presents for other people? I'm like, one for you, one for me, one for you, one for me. Okay? It's the same thing. So the thing to remember is that people are still paying attention. They might not be liking your content or commenting on your content. They might not be responding to your email marketing. Marketing, but they are paying attention. And your ideal clients are starting to imagine who they're gonna be in 2025. And they're not only imagining that. They're trying to figure out who can help them get there. All right? So do not stop posting, do not stop promoting your work just because you think December is going to be slow. I know from experience. I have always thought, okay, well, December is kind of a throwaway month. I'm just going to continue working as normal. It's always been my record breaking month. Month, okay? Without fail, okay? So keep going, keep up the good work, be kind to yourself, have some fun, and do not believe the myth of slow December. All right? Love you, bye.
