Business owners. You know that feeling of dread that you have when you meant to post to social media to promote your business for a really long time, but you kind of fell off the wagon at some point and now it's been a few months and you keep meaning to start posting again, but then like, you're not really sure what you should say and then you're like, I haven't posted in so long. Do I have to explain to everyone why I haven't posted in so long? And then like, God, they're gonna think I'm not that good at my business because I'm obviously not organized and this and that and the other thing. You take a deep breath with me. That's not a thing. I know there's a lot of rumors out there that if you haven't posted in a long time that the algorithm is somehow going to hate you and deprioritize you? None of that matters because there are people who have previously chosen to follow you. They liked the content that you provided. If you start sharing content again, they will like that as well. You don't owe anyone an explanation for why you took a break from social media. It doesn't mean anything about you. For all they know, you got busy running for office for something. You got busy serving all of the clients that you had and ultimately it's none of their business. This is a free service that you are providing to the world. You don't owe an explanation for why you stopped providing a free service for a little while. I am Katie, your practical business coach and let me tell you, sometimes you just need a break. Sometimes you just need a breather. You need to be able to step back and live your life and focus on other things. Come back to promoting your business with a clear mind, feeling grounded and more yourself, understanding more of what your ideal clients need to hear from you in order to make that decision to reach out and work with you. The key is just to start posting again and be consistent with it. Let people know that you exist and how you can help them. Because people cannot hire you and give you their money if they don't understand that you exist, if they don't understand what it is that you could do for them. Stop over complicating it, stop worrying that you owe everyone an explanation about why you took a break. Just get back to work. If you know a business owner who's spiraling over taking a break from social media, who needs to hear this right now, then go ahead and send this to them. If you want more helpful tips and tricks like this, then like and follow for more.
