YouTube video by Katie McManus announcing the launch of a nonprofit called the Gay Birthday Club. The organization will make free birthday phone calls to members of the LGBTQ community who want a call (including singing and emotional support) using volunteers. Katie asks viewers to follow the nonprofit account and visit www.gaybirthdayclub.org to sign up; she notes the group has just launched and hopes to grow to provide grants to other organizations in the future.

Want to support the LGBTQ community this year. Can you guys help me? I just started this nonprofit, and it would mean so much to me if you went to that account and followed it. It's called the Gay Birthday Club, and the whole purpose of the Gay Birthday Club is to call folks in the LGBTQ community who want a call on their birthday and maybe don't get one from their families. And our family at the Gay Birthday Club will call them and sing to them and just, like, stuff their day full of joy and happiness and love. It is absolutely free to join. All you have to do is go to www.gaybirthdayclub.org. we have some really incredible volunteers who are super excited to call you on your birthday. And I apologize in advance, because not all of them are very good at singing, but they are so good at loving and supporting and being there for you. And we literally just launched. So the whole game right now is making sure that we get in front of as many people as possible. So literally any interaction you can do on that account would mean so much to me. We are starting small, but our goal for the future is, we hope to provide grants to organizations that are doing more serious work supporting the community. So if you could help us with these first steps, it would mean so much. Oh, and Hi. I'm Katie McManus, your practical business coach and now a nonprofit founder.
