Here are three things that help my copywriting client grow his part time copywriting business from $33,000 a year to $150,000 a year while still only working 10 to 12 hours a week. And hi, I help ADHD business owners make more money in less time with fewer distractions. I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and money mindset coach. And here's a very poor lit picture of my client, Adam and me from a couple years ago. Here are the three things that we did to 5x his income from his part time copywriting business. Something that identified early on was that Adam was spending too much time chasing down new projects, which means that he was spending less time doing actual paid copywriting work. So number one, we restructured his packages so that his clients would work with him ongoing on retainer. This ensured that he could spend his time on actual money making activities and not on chasing down his next client. And number two, we turned his business inbound. And what does that mean? It means that he wasn't reaching out to potential clients, they were reaching out to him. To do this, we just created a low pressure LinkedIn strategy where he could post a few things a week and get people booking on his calendar to hire him. Meanwhile, we had to consider his lack of time. He still had a full time job and he had a wife and two kids and he did like them and wanted to spend time with them. So number three, to make sure that he had time for everything that was important to him in his life, we created a strategy for him to outsource the stuff that he didn't actually have to do. And one year after starting with me, his business went from 33,000 a year to 86,000 a year. And the next year, two years after starting with me, he made $150,000 from his part time copywriting business. And I should mention that one big goal that he had for this business was to make enough money so that his wife, who was a teacher and very unhappy in her job, could retire and spend more time at home with the kids and him. And he did it like and follow me if you want more tactics and strategies that you can use in your business to also 5x your income.
