A short YouTube clip by Katie McManus in which she attempts a "Get Ready With Me" while applying moisturizer/tinted SPF and narrates her struggle to multitask. She reflects on why such videos are engaging (hand movements draw viewer curiosity), admits difficulty talking while doing makeup, and reassures similar creators they are not alone. Tone is informal, self-deprecating, and observational.

I've been trying for the last five minutes to do a Get Ready with Me where I talk about something and put my makeup on, and I can't do it, guys. This is too hard. This is way too hard. I don't understand how the girlies do this. I mean, this. This is easy. This is tinted spf, okay? This is just moisturizer. I'm just gonna spread it all over my face. But seriously, these tricks that people do, the movement they do work, right? Because when you're watching something and the person is actively doing something with their hands, you're kind of curious. Like, you want to see how it goes, right? And you want to hear what they have to say. But really, it's the movement that gets us to think about it. But if you're like me and you can't figure out how to, you know, put on makeup at the same time as talking about what you do for your work and how you help your clients, I just want you to know you're not alone. I can't do it either. Okay? Maybe. Maybe my trick is I just put moisturizer on. I'm going to have the most moisturized face in the world. Oh, my God. Anyway, I have to go check this. This is not looking good. This just looks like I put a bunch of stuff on, and I did, because I'm not paying attention, because I'm doing this.
