If you're bad at taking time off when you're sick because you feel guilty or you feel like, you know, there's a part of your brain that's like, are you really this sick that you need to cancel a call when you work from home, especially if you're a business owner and you don't have anyone to turn to to, like, give you permission to take time off, I want to give you this one question to ask yourself to be able to determine if you actually need to take time off or if you're just, like, being dramatic, right? Which, let's be honest, you're probably not. Here's the question. I ask myself this all the time. Anytime I'm feeling under the weather or, like, I need to, like, take a day off or whatever is. Could I fake being well? Could I fake being. Being well? Could I fake having my normal energy right now? Could I fake not having brain fog? Could I fake needing. Or could I fake not needing to throw up? Could I fake not having a headache? Because if you can fake not having it, sure, sure. Like, go for it. Go do the call. Don't cancel it. But if you can't fake it, then, honey, you're sick. Take the time off, okay? That's all.
