I challenge you to a DUEL!!!

Katie McManus (business strategist & leadership coach) runs a short live describing a five-day "Social to Sales" challenge for new/small business owners who struggle to show up on social media. She reframes the issue as a "being remembered" problem rather than a marketing problem, promises simple daily ~10-minute activities plus optional 20–30 minute live trainings and a private Q&A, and directs viewers to a sign-up link in the video description. The session is informal and ends with a personal sign-off mentioning Disney movie trivia.

Social Desales is a great challenge for those of you. And I'm going fast tonight. This is a quick live because I have, I have Disney movie trivia to get to. It is Tuesday night, the beginning of the month. I have to get to Disney movie trivia. We are going to kick ass this time, people. We have to redeem ourselves for the whole Harry Potter debacle. It was just, it was embarrassing anyway. So this is right for you. My. My brave ass business owners or want to be business owners, you're. You're wanting to launch your business and you're just not sure how to do it. Okay? So when you think of social media, you either don't know how, like you legitimately don't know how to go and post, you don't know how to put something together. You don't know where you should be showing up. It's so overwhelming. Okay, Social media, there are so many options. You know, you see people showing up in all these different places and how are they doing it? Do they have a team? Are they really doing this all themselves? It can be so easy to put that kind of pressure on yourself to try to show up everywhere. And believe me, you do not have to do that. Okay, so I'm going to be telling everyone in this challenge exactly where they should be spending most of their time for their first year. Showing up seriously on social media and then of course, what to post. Okay. There's so many options and sometimes you feel like you don't have any options. Social media is full of people who are really good at making themselves seem interesting. And a lot of us have been trained to not see ourselves as interesting, but to find other people interesting. Okay. To be interested instead. And how do you turn that into a social media post? Okay, so I'm going to be going into this. This is great for coaches, consultants, lawyers, copywriters, online marketers who are good at doing it for other people, but not for themselves. And I want you to remember you as a new business person, as a small business owner, as an entrepreneur who can only serve a limited amount of people because you're only one person. I want to just remind you we don't have to get all crunchy and freaked out about how big this is. This marketing question, how do we market ourselves? You do not have a marketing problem. And hi, whoever's here, welcome. I hope this is useful and if you have any questions, please pop them in the chat. But I just want to, I want to underline this. You do not have a marketing problem. Okay? I Don't have a marketing problem, okay? We're not sitting around with our board of directors trying to figure out what, which celebrity we're going to hire for our super bowl ad that we're going to be spending billions of dollars on this year, okay? We don't have a marketing problem. We have a being remembered problem. Okay? The biggest hurdle for any small business, for any entrepreneur, is to simply be remembered by the people who are your ideal client. Social media is a beautiful way for people to remember you, okay? And we're not getting dark here. It's not like you're going anywhere. But you know, if I'm, if I'm on my phone, where'd my phone go? If I'm on my phone anyway and I'm scrolling through social media and I see a post by you several times in a week, I'm far more likely to remember you. I'm far more likely to feel like I'm already in a friendship with you than if I don't see you. And I occasionally see you trying to sell me something in social media. So social to sales is going to be showing you how do you show up in a way that people will just remember you as a human being and then make that connection on their own that you can help them solve their problems. So the problem that I see a lot of new business owners having when they start on social media is they wait either for motivation to strike or they create these massive, complex content creation strategies and plans. And two things happen. I mean, one thing happens with both, with both situations, they fall off the wagon, okay? Because if you're waiting for motivation to strike every time, guess what happens? It doesn't strike all the time. Motivation is not a reliable source of energy and action. Okay? So if you're waiting for. And if you create a program or a strategy that's too complex. So here is my promise to you. This challenge, this five day challenge, it's very simple. You're going to have simple and easy strategies to create simple and easy practices that you're going to be able to build momentum around and build consistency on so that you can consistently show up on social media and build these relationships with your ideal clients and your audience. Okay? Activities for each day are going to be about 10 minutes, okay? Like literally you're going to be hitting the ground running with 10 minutes of work. You're going to have a little activity to do in the day and it's going to clear things up for you. There's also going to be a live component, okay? So you're going to be able to hear me talk of, you know, you know, for about 20 to 30 minutes on the training for that day, if you so wish. I am hosting a private Q and A question group or, you know, zoom room group later in the day. So if you want access to that and you want to ask me any questions you have on how you're showing up on social media, you are able to sign up for that as well. Anyway, the link to this challenge is in the description of this live. Like I said, I have to get to Disney movie Trivia tonight. Okay. My team has to win, and so I'm speeding through this live. I hope you don't mind, and I hope. I hope you'll sign up. And if you know anyone who is struggling to show up on social media for their business, please tell them about it. This is open for everyone. Um, this challenge is designed to get more people showing up because you cannot be a secret and a success, then you're keeping yourself a secret, and I don't want that for you. Okay? Because your clients need your help. And if you're not showing up and making sure that they remember you, they're not getting helped by you. So, anyway, please let me know if you have any questions. You can shoot me a DM on whatever platform that you're. You're viewing this live through. And yeah, that link is right there. So go ahead and click. Click on it. Register, and I can't wait to see you there. Anyway, I have to go to Trivia. Wish me luck. We hope. Hopefully we'll be wiping the floor with a bunch of other people who don't know as much about Disney. Anyway, I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and leadership coach. Have a great night, and I'll talk to you all tomorrow. Bye.
