Live from the Garden!

Katie McManus, a business strategist and money-mindset coach, gives a casual garden update from San Francisco. She's doing a 30-day challenge with Lauren Lefkowitz and planted mint, Early Girl tomatoes, basil, fennel, chamomile, and dahlias. She hangs out with her three dogs, Charlie, Luna, and Lily.
Hello, everyone. I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and money mindset coach, coming to you live from my garden. I'm on this 30 day challenge with Lauren Lefkowitz and the consequence is horrendous if I miss a day. So I figured I would do a cozy little live from the garden where I spent some time today planting some herbs and some vegetables and things like that. And just to make sure that Lauren Lefkowitz can't make me sing a song and record it and post it online. Anyway, so, yeah, so today was lovely. If you're in New England, you know that we have like the best weather today. And I planted a bunch of mint and I put it in pots. Don't worry because mint is super invasive. I planted some early girl tomato plants that I actually got when I was with Lauren in Delaware a few weeks ago. So finally got them in the ground. Tons of basil, some fennel. I even got some chamomile. So I'll make my own tea because I'm, you know, like that now. I got some fennel. I've never grown fennel though. I used to live in San Francisco and literally like it just grows everywhere. It's weed out there. It grows like on the side of the highway. So you'd be like stuck in traffic and stopped with your windows down and there would just be like bunches of fennel and it just smell like licorice. And then I am trying dahlias for the first time. So they're so, so beautiful. But I think they're a little finicky. That's what people tell me. But, you know, we'll see. But anyway, yeah, just, just a quick little live to say hello and give you a little insight as to my weekend. Yeah, I'm the weekend garden gnome. Anyway, nothing, nothing too exciting to report today. I'm having a really low key weekend and honestly, It's. It's almost 7pm and I think I want to go to bed. I'm such an old lady right now. We have the dogs that are taking a little snooze. This is Charlie. This is Charlie. Girl. She's a sweet one. Yeah, she's our nicest dog. She's the, the most kind and relaxed of the bunch. And then we have Ms. Luna. Hi. Who is the energy child she has. Oh, my God, she's nuts. She wants to do all the things and then. Lily, Lily, you want to say hi? You want to say hi to the Internet? This is Lily. She's a very proper and spoiled and demanding poodle. Anyway, yeah, that's my report. Thank you for joining. I. I don't have to sing. I'll be back to say something more interesting tomorrow or the day after. And have a great weekend, everyone.
