This short YouTube video (part 1 of a series) by Katie McManus, a business strategist and money mindset coach for ADHD business owners, introduces three of eight "money archetypes": the Accumulator, the Alchemist, and the Celebrity. For each archetype she summarizes defining strengths, typical challenges, and the first tactical coaching priority she uses when working one-on-one (Accumulator: reach $10,000/month to enable risk-taking; Alchemist: narrow to 1–3 projects and focus execution; Celebrity: get on camera quickly to leverage magnetism). The video ends with a tease for part 2 and a brief speaker bio.

If you're an ABHD business owner who's trying to start or grow your business right now, you want to listen up. One of the most impactful things that I do with my one on one clients when they start with me, is we go through what their money archetypes are. Now, there are eight on the list total, but everyone has their top three. And each one of these has their own strengths, their own challenges, and their own way that they typically succeed making lots of money. So while I'm customizing a strategy for their business to reach their goals, I'm basing it off of a lot of the strategies, strengths and challenges that their archetypes will typically run into. This is probably going to be a multi part series, but let's go down the list, shall we? Number one is the accumulator, and they are known as your inner banker. They are trustworthy, conscientious and disciplined. Accumulators have an incredibly easy time saving, creating financial independence, and are incredibly financially responsible. And when I'm working with an accumulator, my number one goal when we first start is to get them up to $10,000 a month as soon as possible. Because until the accumulator has consistent income coming in the door, they will not be able to relax into the inherent risk of starting a business and will be unwilling to do some more adventurous stuff in growing their business. The next archetype I want to talk about is the alchemist. Now the alchemist is known as the idealist. Okay, so they are transformational and daring. Alchemist is incredible at seeing possibilities everywhere. They're great at championing others, and they're a never ending source of creative ideas. Now when I work with an alchemist, one of the things that they run into is they have all these ideas, but they do not get to work on them. So my focus is always to pick the one to three that they are most excited about and have them go full force working on those. Because once the alchemists start seeing that all these ideas that they have can actually turn into things, they become this never ending force for creating incredible businesses that have positive impact on the world, which is the thing that they care most about. Because for the alchemist, making money is nice, but making a difference in the world is way better. Next is the celebrity. I always laugh at this one because it's my third of my top three. It sounds kind of stuck up to call yourself a celebrity when you're not, but the name doesn't matter. The celebrity archetype is known for being magnetic confident and radiant. They often thrive in leadership roles because they are natural at uplifting and encouraging others and because they not only stand out from the crowd, they're incredibly comfortable being the center of attention. And when I'm working with a client who has one of the celebrity archetypes in their top three, my number one focus is going to be getting them on camera as soon as humanly possible. Because when other people see a celebrity archetype on camera being themselves, being confident, a they want to hire them to represent their brand, their products, their services, whatever, and B your ideal clients, if you're a celebrity, they will be drawn to you because they want to tap into your confidence. So I'm running out of time, but those are just the top three of the eight archetypes. Like and follow me for part two. Oh, and hi. I help ADHD business owners make more money in less time with fewer distractions. I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and money mindset coach.
