Katie McManus shares random Olympic facts, including how Flava Flav sponsored the women's water polo team and Snoop Dogg emceed the games but Martha Stewart covered dressage because he's afraid of horses.
So far. Here are my two favorite facts about the Summer Olympics, starting with my second favorite fact. Okay. Flava Flav decided to sponsor the women's water polo team. He found out somehow that they were having to work, like, second and third jobs to be able to afford to play and to go to the Olympics. And he was like, no, no, no, I got this. And there's a great video of him, like, attempting to play with them, and it. It doesn't go well for him. But, like, he has a lot of fun. They have a lot of fun, and. And they're at the Olympics. Hopefully they get a gold. Now, my first favorite thing about the Olympics, and this is kind of a twofer. Okay? I think we all know that Snoop Dogg is kind of emceeing the whole thing, at least for us. Americans. Love that. Love that. He's unseeing the whole Olympics, except for dressage at Versailles. Why? Because he's afraid of horses. So you know who's covering for him? For. For the dressage version. If you don't know what dressage is, it's where the horses dance, like, do break dancing or something. I don't know. Martha Stewart. His buddy Martha Stewart is flying out to do that portion of the Olympics so he doesn't have to be around scary horses. My heart.
