You just got your LLC set up for your new business. Now what? Starting a new business is super stressful. And there are so many things that you can do and you should do, and it can be completely overwhelming. And everyone wants to give you advice on what you should be doing. And I've heard it all. You should set up a website. You should get QuickBooks, you should look into getting a virtual assistant. You should make a lead magnet, which a lot of people don't even know what that is. And honestly, most of that advice is garbage because where you are in your business, you don't actually have a business. You have an llc. Okay? To have a business, you need to be bringing money in. And to bring money in, you need clients. And this is the scariest part for new business owners is going out and announcing, hey, I have a new business and here's what I'm doing. And here is my ideal client. Would you like to book a call with me? And honestly, a lot of people never figure that part out. They set up the LLC, they make the website, they set up QuickBooks, they maybe even get a virtual assistant. But they're too afraid to do the vulnerable part, which is going out and promoting yourself and talking to your ideal clients and saying, hey, I can help you. And you know what? That's totally fair. That's terrifying to do when you've never done it before. But it is the only way to get clients and have an actual living, breathing, profitable business. So if you just started a business and you're getting overwhelmed by all the advice, I want you to stop listening to the stuff that has you doing the stuff in the background of your business and start following the advice you're getting about how to put yourself out there more.
