A short YouTube monologue by Katie McManus advising creators not to chase a new idea every day. She argues creators should repeat their core message in new forms, and that people with ADHD can leverage associative thinking to restate the same point in novel ways.
I'm going to tell you why you don't need a million different ideas for posts on social media. It's a whole lot of work that you have to add to all the other things that you have to do to start a business and where so many people get hung up on creating content is that you think you have to come up with something new to say every single day. I have to come up with some new exciting message to deliver to my world to inspire them and show them how smart I am and convince them that they need to give me their money. But that couldn't be further from the truth. You do not want to create a new thing every single day. What you need to do is you need to figure out a new way to say the exact same thing that you've been saying for 100 days straight. And this is where those of us with ADHD have a major advantage. We can freestyle some weird ass associations to make any point we want.
