Which personal trainer would you sign up for? #socialmediamarketing #entrepreneurship #smallbusiness

A short YouTube marketing/coaching clip by Katie McManus that contrasts two trainer messaging styles (process-focused "Gary" vs result-focused "Sarah") to argue coaches should market by highlighting client problems and outcomes rather than their coaching methods. Katie positions herself as a practical business coach for new business owners seeking high-paying clients and ends with CTAs to save, follow, and share.
Which personal trainer would you sign up for? Would you sign up for Gary, who talks about how his clients can come into this massive room with a lot of weird equipment and a bunch of other sweaty people and they can wear tight clothing and do uncomfortable movements that make them hurt the next day, make it impossible for them to sit down to pee without their bodies hurting, and how he's going to make them pick up heavy things and put them back down. Meanwhile, they're going to get super sweaty and smelly and red in the face and they're going to leave needing to do a whole other shower and pick out a new outfit and it's going to completely interrupt their day. Or you're going to sign up for. For Sarah, who talks about the results that she's gotten where she lost 35 pounds in four months and had sustainable results, has not had to go on any crazy diets and how she's used the same program to help her clients lose anywhere from 20 to 200 pounds and how they were able to get to that result without doing any crash diets and without having any rebound. Which personal trainer would you sign up for? I bet it's Sarah because Sarah's not talking about the process of you doing the things to lose the weight. She's talking about the problems you have right now. She's talking about the results you want to get. Most coaches who start a business struggle to get paying clients in the beginning because what they're trying to do is they're trying to sell the methodology of coaching. They're trying to convince people that going and working with a coach is the thing that's going to be the best for them. But they do it in the Gary way. Here's one exercise I have my clients do. And here's another thing, and here's another thing, and here's what the whole process is like. And, and the truth of the matter is no one gives a damn. No one actually signs up for coaching because they want coaching. The people who sign up for coaching are the people who have a problem and want to get to a result. So if you want to get high paying clients, you're going to have to start identifying what the major problem your ideal clients have and what they want instead. And you're going to have to start talking about that because otherwise what's going to happen is you're going to start posting about your business online, you'll talk about coaching and you're going, you're going to fill up your whole audience with other coaches who are also trying to get clients and also struggling. And it's just going to be like a whole little coach's circle jerk talking about coaching. It's going to be lovely. Hi, I'm Katie, your practical business coach. And new business owners work with me so that they can leave their corporate 9 to 5 replace their 6 figure salary by doing work that they love that actually helps people. And if you're struggling to get clients, I want you to save this video so that you can come back to it later. Follow me because I'm going to be sharing a ton of tips and tricks on how you can actually go out and get high paying clients and send this to any friends that you have who you know are kind of struggling to get clients right now.
