ADHD business owners — make more money in less time with fewer distractions.
So here's the thing about starting a business that no one will ever tell you. And it's that you are going to have impact on people who never even talk to you, who never pay you a dollar, who you don't even know exist. Because in this magical digital world that we live in, we are sharing, we are inspiring, we are posting constantly. And yes, we are marketing for our business. We are doing it to get clients. But it's not just the people who become our clients who are reading our stuff. So it sounds so silly, but my tagline on LinkedIn is literally, Stop being a weenie and start your business already. And this has been my tagline for years. It kind of took off and I didn't. I couldn't change it. And now my whole life is hot dogs. But anyway, it's just my tagline, you know, I post constantly on there, so it shows up in a lot of people's awareness. And I actually didn't know this person existed. I had never met her before. I don't think we'd ever really had, like, a meaningful interaction. Maybe she'd commented on my post at some point, but I just wanted to share this message with you because I want to show you that when you post online, when you share, when you offer your lessons, and when you just show up, you can have impact. Right? This lady, she's sharing with me that she just launched her business. She sent this to me, like, months ago, but she launched her business, and in 48 hours, she got a hundred customers. Okay? And she shares with me that the reason she got off her ass and did her business, her words, is because she kept saying my tagline, the stop being a weenie and start your own business. And that was enough. It was something that she and her co founder used to, like, banter back to each other. Like, stop being a weenie. We gotta do this. And first of all, I was so blown away to hear this. I. I was so blown away to get this, this text message or this message on LinkedIn. And honestly, like, to this day, I'm so grateful that she reached out. And also, I want to use this to remind you that while you might not be getting clients right now, and while you may feel like you're struggling and you're speaking into the void and you're hearing crickets and nothing is happening, you are having impact. There are people who are reading your stuff who may not even like it, who may not even comment on it, because they don't want anyone in their world to know that what you're saying resonates with them, but keep saying it. Keep beating that drum. Keep putting yourself out there. Keep being you. Because you never know who needs to be hearing what you have to say. And in addition to telling people to stop being weenie, I help ADHD business owners make more money in less time with fewer distractions.
