Hello and good evening. Evening. Welcome to my Life. I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and money mindset coach. Tonight we're doing something a little different from my norm. Doing a little tarot card reading. We're doing a little tarot card reading about your money mindset. I'm going to be covering any and all questions you have about how you can charge more for your business and also how you can just feel better about charging more money and bringing in new clients. You know, one of the things that I see most often when I work with new clients is that they have this belief that they have to figure out what they are worth in order to start working with people. And let me tell you, it's further from the truth. It's not actually about what you're worth as a person. It's about what you offer your client. It's about the value you add to them. All right, any questions you have about your relationship with money, please ask. I'm just gonna get a little more settled here and just a little housekeeping. I am going live to the Facebooks, to LinkedIn, to YouTube, Twitter, and over here on TikTok on my phone. So we have a couple different, you know, devices going. So I'm gonna pull some cards just about the. Oh, that one just jumped right out. Ooh, the emperor. That's a really powerful one. So I'm gonna start pulling just a couple car. Oh, my God. These are just jumping. What was that? Ooh, the queen of swords. We're gonna start with those two. All right, so I'm doing this reading tonight on relationship with money, pulling some general cards that are happening that are just kind of popping out for the population in general. Anyone who is drawn to my stuff. If you're just coming, hello and welcome. I also want to name that. If you want me to spend 10 minutes doing a deep dive on you, your relationship with money, on, you know, your business, then you can go to the link either in the description of this live or in my bio if you're on TikTok, and you can click the link and you can submit your question. All right? And I will absolutely go to town on whatever is going on for you in your. In your money. Okay, so let's. Let's do this quick little reading on, and hello, welcome. Hi. All right, so we got the emperor, which is a pretty badass card. All right, so the emperor is all about authority, ambition, and power. When the emperor is not in their power, though, when it's upside down, it's all about tyranny, domination, and being headstrong. Okay, so the Emperor rules with the utmost authority and is the father figure of the tarot deck. He embodies structure and stability, complete with decisive action to easily manifest ideas in the form of accomplishment and monetary gain. Perfect. That's exactly what we're talking about. His guidance and wise words are based on his worldly experience and he's got the battle scars to prove it. He reflects your ambitious side where you seek status, success and recognition. Maintaining your self discipline, controlling your emotions and making level headed decisions will move you forward. The Emperor is a strategic thinker and urges you to carry out plans systematically and in a controlled manner. Embrace your inner warrior. Don't be afraid to step into the role of leadership. You're straight up slaying the game and nothing can stop you. Okay, so right off the bat, this is a really good sign that whatever you're trying to build right now, if you're watching this, if you're in this world, you know, you actually have everything at your fingertips that you need to be successful. All right? It's already there. The thing that will often get in people's way is your own stubbornness. Like, so when the Emperor is upside down, that speaks to you being kind of a tyrant with yourself. So like, you know, when we talk about relationship with money, you know, we learn this from before we're even conscious of what money is. Right. Our family kind of gives it to us. We observe and we absorb all of the different conversations and energies that our families have when they talk about money. And it can really warp your belief around what you're worth, what you're doing, what people are willing to pay you for. And it gets, it can be really, really troubling. It can really limit your, your success in your business. Just want to check something over here on, on tick tock and make sure. Let me see. How are we doing over here? Yeah. Hello. Welcome. I don't know why this is being silly. Okay. Anyway, so that. So you're perfectly set up. The only thing, the only person that's getting in the way of you making more money is literally you. That is what the Emperor tells us. All right. The Queen of swords. I love this deck. I think it is just so pretty. So the Queen of swords, let's see what she has to say. So the queen of swords was upside down. Want to honor that? If you're not familiar with tarot card readings, the cards do have different meanings when they're upside down or right side up. And of Course interpretive. Right. So you know, there are things that will absolutely hit for you where you are right now and things that like, you know, may need deeper interpretation. Okay? So like I said, if you have any questions, if you're struggling with making money right now, with attracting clients and you want to ask a question, please do pop those in the comments. And if you want me to do a deeper 10 minute on you 10 minute deep dive where I'm also doing some actual logistical strategy on your business, then go to the link in the about section of this live or in my bio and you can sign up for that. Submit your question. All right, so we have the Queen of Swords. She represents upside down, the ice queen. Judgmental and detached. That's telling. Okay, Objectives, think. Objective thinking is needed here. Emotions cloud your thought process and paint your mind with colors that don't necessarily add to the painting. Okay, so we're talking about beliefs that you have that do not serve your greater good. Okay? They are holding you back from charging what you're worth and what your clients will actually pay for. All right? There's a fine balance between your feelings and facts. Yes. Okay, time to regroup and look at the whole picture. Partake in your logic. To look at the situation from all angles with straightforward transparency and honesty. On the other end of the spectrum being, being too cold and forgetting compassion are equally as damaging. Lashing out with judgmental, closed minded thinking can scare those who are, who are trying to help you. People may find you abrasive and think that it is difficult to be around you. Being highly critical in tough situations is important. However, back it up with logic and facts to know if you've made the right decision. Okay? This card is the money. Okay? Because that whole dynamic that I just described that I just read off to you about being too abrasive and too harsh and like too judgmental. That's how we treat money. That is how we treat money. That's exactly how we talk about money. We treat money as if it is the most evil thing in the world. Like we don't want them around. Like, money doesn't matter to me. And guess what? Money's always listening. This, this card is telling us that we like, if you're watching this live and you're struggling to bring in money, I want you to really look at how are you talking about money? Okay? How do you communicate with money? How do you treat money? You know, do you, do you treat it like it's a leper and you don't want to be around it? Because like, you, you assume it's like bad for you and it's associated with evil and it can really cause harm. Or do you not trust money? Like, do you. Is it like a friend that you're. You don't trust to like, come back and hang out with you, so you lock them up in the basement? There can be a lot of hoarding that happens with money and it's, it's equally as unhealthy as not having any. You know, I think I'm having issues over here on the live on Tick Tock, so I'm just going to restart it. But anyway, any questions you have on your relationship with money while I deal with this, please pop them in the chat. We are going to. Let me see. The Tick Tock app has been really weird lately. I don't know what's going on. It's been super glitchy. If anyone goes live on TikTok and you know what I'm talking about, then if you have any tips for me, I'd really appreciate it. There we go. Confirm we're gonna go live again. Okay, great. Maybe I got Shadow banned. Who knows? Who knows? Okay, all right. Maybe that'll work. I don't know, it's being kind of funny. Okay, so. All right, so so far in this little reading we've come up with the. The emperor. Basically everything that you need to be successful and profitable in your business, you have at your fingertips already. The only reason you're not getting what you want out of your business is because you are being too dictatorial. You are being stubborn and you are getting in your own way. And the reason you're getting in your own way is because you have some really fucked up relationship stuff with money. You are treating money in a way that is actually scaring money away from you. Oh, here we are. Hi, Tick Tock. Hi, everyone. We're doing a little money tarot card reading this evening. If you have any questions or you want me to do a deeper dive on money for you, then you can go to the link in my bio and you can submit your Questions for a 10 minute coaching slash reading. I will be pulling cards for anyone who has a question. You can want to put it in the chat? Please do. We're talking about money and your relationship with it and how your shit relationship with money might actually be scaring away clients. And I will be pulling cards for anyone who asks a simple question in the chat. But I will be going into a deeper dive for those of you who sign up for a 10 minute reading. And you can do that by clicking on the link in my bio. I'm just gonna do this. You can see what cards we're looking at. All right, so we started off with the emperor. Ah, we have some more people here. So I'm going to continue pulling cards just for the general space and making sense of them in a way that, like, will hopefully give you some insight as to how you're dealing with money. Right now that isn't helpful. Oh, that. Those two just jumped right out. And also two juicy ones. And also show you some work that you can do on your relationship with money. Okay, so we got the wheel and the Hanged Woman. Okay. Two really powerful cards in the tarot deck. I'm going to be reading out of the book, but I will be interpreting. Interpreting it based on your relationship with money. Based on, like, what you're doing in your business. It's scaring clients away. And also, like, what beliefs around money are just getting in the way of you being successful. You'd be amazed when you shift these beliefs. Like, these beliefs are really the only thing that's preventing you from being successful. You know, of course, that's a very privileged thing for me, a white woman, to say. There are other things that obviously are going to feed into your success, but like if you don't believe that you can run a nine minute mile, it doesn't matter how much you train for it, you're never going to do it. If you don't believe it's possible, it's never going to happen. It's the same for money. If you don't think you can make a million dollars, guess what, you're right. Okay. You will never make a million dollars if you don't believe you can. Hello, everyone. Welcome. Hello. Amy Hume. Coach Holly Emmanuel. Welcome. Hi. All right, so we have the wheel of fortune here. It's upside down. So, okay, this one is a loaded one. So when we're talking about relationship with money, the wheel of fortune upside down indicates unfortunate events, resisting change and letting go. All right, I can already tell where this is going to go. So forces that are outside of your control are taking hold of your life. At this time, you are experiencing a string of bad luck and it can feel like you're never going to get a break. Misfortune and overwhelm can be discouraging, especially when you use that as evidence against yourself and your self worth. Now is not the time to be taking risks. Proceed with caution and lay low until the storm is over. Losing control can be scary. But practice seeing if the situations are here to teach you rather than take from you. Life is full of ups and downs, including the tough moments. Challenges create character, and it is up to you what you choose to take away from it. Going against the current is depleting your energy. Resisting change is futile. Instead, go with the flow. Okay, so here's something that happens so often with business owners who are going through kind of a shit time in their business, and it happens to everyone. Okay? So if you have a business and you're struggling to get clients right now, you're struggling to bring money in. Hi, Ty. Hi, Manuel. Something that you want to be really aware of is what's the. The narrow. The narrative that you're constructing based on all the bad things that are happening for you, okay? Because let's be real, okay? Bad stuff happens, okay? Like, we had a pandemic recently. If you don't. If you didn't forget that, you know, we have issues with our homes, we have to move. Someone gets sick, maybe you got sick, maybe you got injured. And all that stuff will impact your business, okay? It will impact your finances. It will, you know, make money easier or harder to come by. But the thing that this card is showing you is that how you look at things will actually determine the trajectory of where it's going to go next. All right? So one of the things that happens so often for new business owners and. And like, veteran business owners really, is they have a string of bad luck. Like, bad things happen. They get really down on themselves. And then because they're down on themselves, they figure, okay, well, there's nothing I can do to make this better, so I'll just like, all tuck and run until things brighten up. Well, guess what? You're not doing when you're doing that, you're not marketing. You're not out there being the face of your business and being promoting all the good work that you do. You're not doing that. You're hiding. So when bad luck hits you and hits your business, the most important, important thing for you to do is to keep working at it, okay? Because the wheel of fortune, like, no season lasts. Let's just be real, okay? Spring doesn't last. Fall doesn't last, okay? The good times will not last, and the bad times will not last. It really doesn't. Excuse me. I'm gonna choke on my own spit. Whatever is going wrong in your life right now, you have the choice to let it take you down and to believe that things are just awful. Or you can see it as just a phase and continue working in your business. Okay, that last bit, that's what's going to get you through. That's what's going to make sure that you actually have a business and clients coming through on the back end. And just want to remind you, if you want me to do a 10 minute deep dive on your questions and you can go to the link in my bio or in the description of my life if you're watching this on the Facebooks, LinkedIn, YouTube or Twitter. All right, so the second card that we got was the Hanged Woman. If you want to see this card, it's beautiful. This is upside down. This is what it's supposed to look like anyway. The Hanged Woman. Oh, it's a juicy card. And if you're just joining us, welcome. We're talking about your relationship with money. I'm doing some tarot card readings. Hello, Javi, welcome. Lit. It is lit indeed, sir. Okay. All right, so we're talking. This is a very loaded reading right now. So I don't know who this is speaking to. If this is speaking to you, if this is heading home for you, please put in the chat. So we just talked about how like the bad things can really get you down and that impacts how much money you're going to attract. The Hanged Woman. Upside down is avoidance, sacrifice and delay. Okay? So when you avoid things, you're basically delaying your ultimate success. So putting a lot of effort and energy into a situation or person is wearing you down. Especially when you are not seeing a return. Stop sacrificing your time and values to please other people. If you're putting off a decision to avoid confrontation or responsibility, it may come back to haunt you. The time will come when you will finally have to speak your truth. Feeling stuck and unfulfilled is increasing your awareness of what you do want. The suspension in time is actually a blessing in disguise. Meditate on your issues so that you can gain much needed clarity before making any moves. Utilize patience, sit still and realize your life is bigger than this one moment. There are always other options and they will reveal themselves to you as you keep going down your path. Right. Who? All right, let's break this down as how it relates to your money. Okay, so oftentimes when you have a shit relationship with money, there's stuff happening with your money that you're being completely avoidant of. Okay, so it might be that you've avoided paying taxes for a little bit or filing them and you're afraid of looking at it. It could also mean that you're terrified of looking at your credit card statement or your bank statement. Like, you. You know that you have done things that mean that you're not going to have a whole lot of money left over. Here's what happens when we avoid something. We don't actually not deal with it, right? When we're avoiding something, it is always on our minds. Okay? I want you to think of a scenario where, like, I don't know, let's imagine you have a family member, like a cousin or, like an aunt or something. Someone who, like, maybe. Maybe they're fine, but maybe you just have to be in, like, the right mood to talk to them, right? And imagine they called you, I don't know, a couple of weeks ago, and, like, they left a voice message, and you kind of let it go to voice message. You didn't even reject it because you didn't want them to see that you saw it, because then you get, like, kind of a guilt trip from them, and you didn't want to have that conversation, but you just couldn't handle them in that moment. And so for, like, the first week, you're thinking, I have to call them back. I have to call them back. Oh, God. Like, I didn't call them back yet. I have to call them back. So you're always thinking about it, but you're not doing it because you don't really want to. Okay? And then the second week, like, you start to get really weird about it, right? You. You keep thinking you need to call them back, and you're like, well, I. I didn't even see that they called. Like, I. Whatever. Like, they probably don't need me to call them back, even though they left, like, a long voice message that you haven't listened to. A few weeks will go by and, like, it doesn't matter how much you're trying to avoid the conversation with them, you're constantly thinking about it until that moment where, like, there's a family function and you're supposed to be bringing the potato salad, and you have to be talking to them to figure out which recipe you should be making. And then you have to bite the bullet and deal with it, right? And then it's just, like, you're building up this super awkward situation. We do this with our money all the time, okay? We do this with our clients all the time. Oftentimes when someone starts a business, they're terrified, absolutely terrified of asking for money, all right? And I get it. It's hard, it's really scary to, like, turn to Someone and say, hey, like, I want to do work with you, but you have to give me money for it. You know, it's. It takes. It takes over ease to do that, right? But when we avoid having that conversation, we keep ourselves in limbo. We keep ourselves in this, like, no man's land of no money coming in, and we're terrified of asking for more, and it's just. It's a nightmare. It's so exhausting. You know, the thing to remember is you control that. You really do. Whatever you're avoiding in your money right now, you. You need to stop avoiding. And I don't care. Here's. Here's just like, a really general thing you can do. Log in to your bank, your bank statement, and to your credit cards and be grateful. And I don't care if you're in the red. Be grateful for that space, for money to come, to be grateful that people have lent you money to do the thing that you want to do. And be grateful for the money that is coming into you. Because we know it's coming, right? I'm sure each and every one of you. I mean, I don't know who's watching right now necessarily, but I know that there have been moments in your life where you desperately needed money, and it's arrived, it has come. It is just, like, shown up for you, and it's there. That's what money wants to do in its natural state. It wants to show up for you. Okay? Money is energy, okay? Just like love, just like attention. All right? What happens when you get weird about people loving you? Like, you don't get love because you're doing weird things to kind of push them away. It's the same thing with money. It's the same thing with attention. If you really don't like attention and people are trying to give you attention, then you, like, go and hide and you, like, shove them away and you get weird about it. It's the same thing with money. All right? So you're holding yourself hostage here. Like there might have been some bad shit, like some bad things that have happened. And. But guess what? You're the one that's prolonging it by not addressing it. By avoiding all the icky situations around money, you're actually making this worse right now. All right? And hello. Jean, Jean, Ashley, welcome. And Jerry Marie. And Seth Shuey. And Jason Music. And Wilson Bellmius. I hope I'm pronouncing that correctly. Hello, welcome. Anyone who has a question about your money, about attracting clients. If you need help in your business. Please pop your questions in the chat. And if you want me to do a deep dive on your business, then please go to the link in my bio or in the description of this live and submit your. Your bigger question. All right, I'm gonna shuffle these up because I can't really shuffle them as one big deck because I have really small hands. Like, really small hands. Like, I have children sized hands. Like, there are some cups that I have to hold with two hands. And so these decks are just really big, and I can't shuffle them all at once. You know, when I was starting my business, I had the worst relationship with money. And I got myself into a lot of trouble with credit cards and with debt. And, like, part of it was situational. Part of it was, like, I'd been in a really serious accident a couple of years before and had a mild traumatic brain injury. And so, like, obviously I wasn't making great decisions with money. I had to be on disability from work because I was still recovering from that brain injury. But also, while I was recovering from a brain injury, I decided it was a great idea to get into an emotionally abusive relationship with a narcissist. And I don't mean someone who's just selfish. I mean, like, in a legit diagnosed narcissistic personality disorder person who took advantage of some money for me. Anyway, so I ended up in some debt with those circumstances, along with some of my own bad choices, because I really didn't understand how to be good with money. And things got dark. Things got really bad really fast. And I was really grateful that I had signed up for this coach that I frankly couldn't afford at the time. But I remember being in this alleyway in Brooklyn, New York. I was there for, like, a money mindset seminar kind of thing to heal my relationship with money. Um, and just sobbing, sobbing, like, like, I had ruined my life. Um, and my coach at the time kind of helped me process in that moment, like, as if I had ruined my life. Like, here you are. Like, there's no way out. Like, you've just. You've crashed and burned everything. Be in this moment and be here. Um, and I had to go there. I had to go to that really dark place where, like, there was no way out. And I completely screwed everything up. For me to be able to even start doing the work right. Because how we are with, like, we judge people on, like, how good they are as human beings based on how much money they have, based on how successful they are, and because we do it to other people. Like, we're not complicated humans like, or creatures. How we do one thing is how we do everything. So if we're treating other people as like, how they are with money is a measure of their work, guess what we're doing to ourselves? We're doing the same damn thing. We're looking at ourselves and we're saying, okay, well, you know, you only have $2,000 in the bank. You must not be worth much. You're not a good decision maker. Like, I wouldn't trust you. Right. And when we treat ourselves that way, even if we're not announcing it to the world, it gets transmitted to the people around us. You know, the fact that we don't see ourselves as worthy, you know, when we go to ask for the big ticket for our work for potential clients, there's something off for them. Like, they're not going to trust. They're really not going to trust that, like, we have good intentions because the energy is going to be weird and they're not going to be able to put their finger on it, but there's going to be something off for them and it's just gonna, it's gonna tank your business and it's really, really sad. And thank you for the likes over here. Hello. Welcome, elect. Welcome. And Amy, holistic keto coach. Oh, my gosh, I love that. And Harley Spectrum Bubble. I love that name. Welcome. Yes. And any questions you have about your relationship with money. If you want me to do pull a card for you, I'm pulling cards for free. So if you have a quick question, you want to put it in the chat, you can absolutely do that. If you 10 minute deep dive. Those are 47. And you can ask your question in the link in my bio or in the description of this. I'm gonna pull one more card. I'm feeling like there's some energy right now. It's like the most W thing, but it's true. Like, I feel like there's something that needs. Like there's a question in the air. Okay, well, the nine of pentacles and it came out sideways, so I'm actually going to read both the upwards and the downwards description, but it's not gorgeous. I love this deck. This is the Mystic Monday stack, if anyone's curious. Big fan. Okay, so I'm not sure. Okay. Amy. Just cooking dinner and listening. I found you recently because of ADHD diagnosis. Oh, well, welcome to the club. Yeah, you know, it's welcome. Congratulations on your diagnosis. I am a big fan of people with adhd. Especially if you're getting a late diagnosis later in life. Really doing some work on your relationship with money because most people with ADHD were impulsive. We have like. We tend to buy stuff to make ourselves feel better because that's kind of what we were taught. And so if you have any stories around being bad with money, I want you to do some journaling, I want you to do some self care. I want you being really, really kind to yourself because you basically just got the operating system manual for how you operate, right? You haven't had it where. Whereas the rest of us who have adhd, who got a diagnosis earlier, we had the operating manual from early on. And you know what, like, having that information about yourself is super valuable. But yeah, any. Any content you want me to create to help you transition into being fully embraced in your ADHD diagnosis, please know. Okay. Nine of pentacles. Okay. Oh, I love this. Okay, so the nine of pentacles right side up represents true color, splendor and vitality. Indulge yourself. You deserve it. Your hard work is paying off and you are now reaping the rewards. You feel at ease with your financial status, income and schedule. Live loud with luxury, allowing yourself to enjoy the abundance that you've created. It is now time to celebrate and treat yourself. Whether it's buying that item that you've had your eye on or giving yourself time to rest. By staying true to yourself and your vision, you are improving the quality of your life. Show your true colors by saying yes to your independent spirit and the creations you are bringing forth into this world. Acknowledge your accomplishments and what it took for you to get to this place of fulfillment and satisfaction. Rich in inspiration. Connect and replenish the unique beauty that you possess and provide in this world. Okay, so we got it sideways. So I don't know if that's what needed to be heard by someone or if it's the upside down version which is all about self sabotage, materialistic and dependency. So they're like complete opposite. So flashy feathers will, with no substance to back up the glitz and glam can only get you so far. You can feel it in your bones that you are meant for more than where you are currently. But something is getting in the way. Change your mindset and deep dive into your core beliefs that may be sabotaging your intentions. Showing off what you don't have will eventually get you into trouble. That's where I was when I first started, when I was spending money that I didn't have. Andrea. Probably the upside down Version lol. Maybe. Who knows? Having quote, quote, unquote, the best of everything is shaping your perspective on life, affecting your relationships and putting pressure on you to maintain a high income to keep up with your expenses. Define what is important to you and what value the material things bring to your life. Your true value is not defined by what you possess. What. What does having the best mean to you and your self worth? Only you can decide. Define that. So it's really funny if, if you followed me for a while, you know that I do also. The Sacred Money Archetypes by Kendall Summerhawk. This card is kind of like the good side of the romantic and also the negative side of the celebrity. Okay? So the romantic, like really enjoys, like derives great pleasure and fulfillment from investing money in like luxury, really enjoyable experiences. Right? However, the celebrity will spend money that they don't have. And I'm, I'm. My second one is celebrity, so. Or third one, I'm sorry, will spend money that they don't have to impress people that they don't like. Right. You know, I think, I think what I'm getting from this card and you know, let me know in the comments if this rings true for you. Oh, Amy, that's you. Yeah, yeah, welcome. Welcome to the club. So what rings true for me in this card is that oftentimes we hold off giving ourselves rest or rewarding ourselves for work done until we get a result, right? And in your business that's not okay, right? Because there's a lot of work that's going to be done early on that you're not going to get any results from, okay? Because it's just too early on for you to know. You know, it's too early on for you to see any result, okay? You have to give yourself little rewards and consistent rest as you build the business or else you're going to burn yourself the fuck out. Likewise, no one cares how successful you are or how successful you appear, except for you. If it makes you feel empowered to spend money to, to make yourself look more successful, if that makes like faking it till you make it kind of helps you on an energetic level. This card I'm getting like kind of go for it like you can. You're in your power to do that. But be careful. When it is no longer in your power, it no longer supports you energetically, right? Like, it can become one of those things that like, maybe you're that person who always has to get their nails done because it makes you feel good, but it becomes a very expensive habit and Maybe because you're like, your nail beds start getting destroyed, you have to do it more and more often. And like, you're not making any money in your business. Like, you're spending money that you don't necessarily have coming in on something that ultimately does not matter to your business. Be careful of that, okay? Because here's the thing. No one's going to care if you stop doing your nails. No one's going to care if you wear, like a normal purse one day instead of like a designer handbag, okay? Really? No one cares? What they care about is the value that you provide your clients, the transformation you offer, and that's it. How bright you are as a human. And I don't mean bright light, intelligence wise. I mean like, like how much energy you come into the room with, right? If you're doing stuff to yourself financially, that's stealing that light from yourself and is making you feel diminished, you're not just robbing that from yourself, you're robbing that from everyone that you're coming into contact with because otherwise they come into contact with your, you know, sparkling personality and they're not getting it right. Now if you're robbing from yourself. Let me see, let me see. It comes off as the fake it till you make it mentality. Yeah, yeah, It's. We're really good at bullshitting ourselves. Really good at bullshitting ourselves. We can spend money on stuff that we are convinced will make us more successful, make us happier. And ultimately, like, that's not necessarily what's going to make us money. We. You have to also take care of who you are as a human being. You know, when I was really bad with money, I would spend, like, my roommate and I, we would joke that, like, we would rather, like, spend ourselves into insane amounts of debt than ever admit to people that we were out with that we couldn't afford the cocktails at that bar. Like, we would spend, like, we would joke that we just like spent a $17 money on a $17 margarita that would be paying off 10 years later, you know? And unfortunately it's kind of true. That's like, if those are the people that you're hanging out with that, like, are not okay with the fact that maybe you can't afford to go where they want to go and they're not willing to adjust the plans or like, maybe treat you to one of your cocktails or whatever, they're not your people. Right. I've been, I've been really well off. I've also been really fucking broke. Let me tell you, every time I'm well off, I don't care if my friends can't afford to go to the bar or the restaurant that I want to go to. If they can afford it, I'm treating them right. If they can't afford it and like, I don't really care about going there. We're going somewhere they can feel like they're in power. You know, we are really good at convincing ourselves that people are our friends, that they are supportive of us when they're not really. I recently just ended a friendship with someone who, when I started doing the inventory on the Wheel of Fortune, came up again. When I started doing inventory on like how our friendship had gone. Like, it was just like a really like being treated badly and then being treated badly again and then like a half apology and then being traded worse and then being treated worse and then like a quarter apology. And it just continued. And I finally realized, like, this is not a relationship I want. When you're working on your relationship with money, sometimes you have to break up with yourself. Sometimes you're the shitty person in the relationship. Sometimes you've been treating money like garbage. And guess what? Money's not going to want to come to you if you're being that mean to it. Andreas last, it does seem to add that presenting a certain way can affect how others will view us in terms of value, especially as a new business owner trying to attract clients. The duality of the entrepreneurial of the entrepreneur. Yeah, yeah. I mean, here's the thing. Like you don't want to show up to a business meeting in rags. Absolutely. You maybe don't want to show up with like really ratty sneakers, but no one knows the difference between Payless shoes that are new and really designer clothes. Like literally designer shoes. Literally. They did a, like a pop up prank shop where they took Payless shoes, shoes that were being sold at payless for like $13, slapped a 300 price tag on them and opened it up at Fashion Week in New York as if it was like this brand new boutique. And guess what? When people found out after the fact, they didn't care. They didn't care that they had spent $300 on something that was $13. They thought, oh, well, now I have a piece of performance art. Right. No one knows. You really do not have to break the bank. What is it? Pay less, pay less C or whatever. Yes, yeah, exactly. You remember. Yeah, like good. If you need to dress nicely, go to Marshalls. Right. No one's going to look at you up and down and be like, oh, that's all discount clothes. No, no, no, no. It's about the light that you bring. It's a, it's about the value you bring into the room. It's about how kind you are to people and it's about the confidence you have in what you bring to the table. Okay. That is going to be the thing that really attracts people to working with you. You know, there's something in here, in the nine of pentacles. It's all about authenticity, showing your real colors. I can't tell you how many times I've worked with coaches, and it's mainly coaches. I'll just stop there. Who. Because they think it's like the cool thing to do. They want to get into the corporate space and they want to do corporate workshops and they want to work with like CEOs and director level clients and, and they totally can. Like, they're completely qualified. They're trained, they're certified, they have the background to back it up. But I've had several clients who are also witches. You know, they, they do some kind of magic. Like, it's either natural magic out in the, in the wilderness, or like they're doing kind of stuff like this. And they're so terrified to show that side of themselves. They're so afraid. And what ultimately happens is they spend so much energy trying to beige themselves out, like, become like the bland corporate version of themselves that hides that side of themselves that the most they ever charge is like 200 an hour, right? They don't. They never build the confidence because they're not actually being true to themselves. They are just constantly trying to hide who they actually are to like, trick people into thinking that they're more professional, more buttoned up than they actually are. Guys, whenever one of these people who is magic, who like, you know, is witchy and woo woo and wonderful, actually steps into their power with that stuff and goes after corporate clients, they'll make $2,000 an hour easily. It's wild. It's wild because people want authenticity. They want something and also like you being your authentic, bright, vibrant version of yourself, even if it's weird to some people, it gives the people who want to work with you the permission to step into their authentic, vibrant, beautiful version of themselves that's authentic to them. Okay, stop hiding that. Stop hiding that. Let me see. I'm literally at the Marshalls right now. Oh, good. I bid you good chopping magic there. Welcome. Hello. Yeah. Any questions you have on your business, on money, on how you can attract more high paying clients. Please pop any and all questions into the chat or the comments. And if you would like me to do a 10 minute reading for you, then you can go to the link in my bio or in the description of the live and you can sign up for that, which actually I haven't. This is all really new to me, so I'm just going to double check that that link is working. But yeah, That's updating. Ooh, strength. It's funny, I, I don't really pull cards. They just kind of jump out at me. It's like, here I am. Pick me, pick me. All right. Strength. So fierce. Endurance and courage. Strength is not the only a card of physical strength, but often points to your inner strength. It shows your growth and maturity in that you have been able to deal with challenging situations with compassion and patience. What requires more compassion and patience than waiting for money to come in? It is natural for humans to have animalistic instincts. This is based on survival. Sometimes most of the time when we're making decisions around money, we're doing it from a survival place, not a fulfillment place. And you have, you have learned to tame the beast, to become guided by a higher consciousness. Master your impulses and take responsibility for yourself and your actions. With this power of self control, you will be able to approach your problems powerfully and gracefully. Courage and patience are both needed in facing your fears. Connecting your inner and outer strength is key to embodying this impenetrable, ferocious energy. With finesse and prowess, know that you have all the tools necessary to not only persevere, but thrive. Let me see. Oh, Andrea, such a great question. The question is, I'm getting it over on LinkedIn. For those of you on TikTok, I'm gonna read it. So how would you approach the first client offer? How would you own your value as a new business owner slash coach? I think this has to do with like pricing. Like how do you, how do you set your pricing for that first client? I mean, okay, so there's, there's market rate, right? So depending on what kind of coach you are, you kind of want to look to the market rate. So like, you know, base numbers. In the U.S. if you're a life coach, generally you're charging between $550 a month for two sessions to $1,200 a month for two sessions. Okay. You're not working with people for forever, probably about six months to a year. They have very specific goals. Like if you're just doing life coaching for the sake of doing life coaching, you're going to get really low ticket clients. So you want to really understand what's the transformation that you're taking people through and what's the value of that transformation, right? If you're helping people find their soul, their soulmate, their partner, think of the, the frustration that they're saving. Think of like the lonely nights. Think of, you know, having to make really sad compromises later. Like, maybe they really want kids and like, you know, but they only want to have kids if they have the right partner. Think of like what they would miss out on if they didn't get this partner. You can charge a fair bit for that and obviously like you want to charge enough that they'll have skin in the game, right? Because you cannot guarantee that they're going to do the work. The only way, like the closest thing you can get to guaranteeing that your clients are going to do the work is by charging a lot for it, right? Because people will generally, like people throw $200 at something, no problem. Like, I had a coach once who was $200 a month. I never did shit for them, okay? I never did any of the homework. You want to charge enough that it gets them invested in the work. Now, in contrast, if you're doing leadership coaching, if you're an executive coach and you're working with like C suite or VPs, presidents, whatever, you're really looking more at like 20 to $30,000 for six months to a year, sometimes a lot more, depending on are you specialized to a special industry? Do you help people like CEOs like of a specific size company? You know, I've heard of CEO coaches charging 2 or $300 a year depending on how much money that person makes. Because like, here's the thing, like if they make, they make $7 million a year plus bonus like their pocket change to them, they don't really care. You know, $6,000, $30,000, they're not going to show up for recessions. You know, it also depends on who's paying for it, right? So are they paying for it out of pocket? Are, are, is their company paying for it? Right. So that's two different price points. Generally when I used to do leadership coaching, I would have a different price that was more affordable for people who are paying out of pocket. And then I would charge more if it was the business or the company paying for it. Like, mainly because, like, I would have to do more work to do invoicing for the company. Like, I would have to like, like really Pack on hours to deal with all these other people. And I would also have to chase people down to do, like a sponsorship agreement rather than just my client agreement. It was just a lot more work. So you want to think about the value you bring. You want to think about who your, your ideal client is, what niche you're in, and then honestly, like, how much money do you want to make? You know, I'm a big believer that any goal you have is reverse engineer able to. So I'll figureoutable, as Marie Forleo says. So if you want to make $150,000 a year, divide that by 12, 12 months in a year, and then divide that by how many clients you want to carry at a time. Right? So if that's 10 clients, great. Like, I'm not going to do the math right off my top of my head. And my phone is actively being on TikTok right now, so I don't have my calculator. But, like, that's how much you need to charge per month. If you want to make $500,000 a year, then you're probably going to need to diversify with like, 10 clients, maybe at $30,000 a year, and then maybe you're doing like $200,000 worth of workshops or corporate events and things like that. All those will help you get clients also. But really, I mean, you have to think about the value that you're bringing. What, what is someone who is going to sign up with you, do the work? What are they ultimately going to get at the end of working with you, and what's it worth to them? You know, if you're helping people get promotions in their job, I want you to think about how much money are they going to make more that year if they get the promotion? Right. Maybe it's a $10,000 raise. Right. But it's not just $10,000. Once it's $10,000 the next year and the next year, and then any raise they get beyond that is just going to be on top of that. Right. So if they're halfway through the career, a $10,000 raise they get the year that they work with you could ultimately turn out to be half a million dollars in difference by the end of their career, really, depending on, you know, what, what niche or, I'm sorry, what industry they're in and how ambitious they are. Now you. Yeah, people tend to think that they need to discount themselves when they first start out. They think that they have to charge, like, baby prices because they're a baby coach. And it's farther. It couldn't be further from the truth. Like, if you charge baby prices, you're going to attract really flaky clients. That's just it. And they're not going to be your ideal clients. So you might get testimonials from them, but those testimonials are not going to then attract high paying clients. Okay, I'm going to pull a card for you also, but I hope that helps. I. I try. Like, I'm obviously doing tarot cards right now. Right. I also try to, like, bring real strategic ways of looking at things because I don't want anyone to be like, oh, well, I don't trust it because it was just a tarot card that told me this. Okay, so you got the Knight of Wands. He looks. He looks slow. He looks like he's playing pool, doesn't he? He looks like he's playing pool. And maybe he. I don't know. He. He kind of is giving me like Howard Wolowitz vibes. Thinking about baby coach prices. All right. Yeah, no baby made. No baby coach prices. Okay, let me see. I'm not gonna lie. I'm a little breathless because I'm wearing hard pants and I just realized, like, I had a lot to eat at dinner and they're really cutting into me. I think it's like limiting the amount of breath I'm getting into my chest. So I'm like, I'm out of breath. But it's because of that. It's kind of embarrassing. Probably shouldn't have admitted that to you guys. Okay, so the Knight of Wands is all about ambition, risk taker, and action oriented. So act first, think later. Driven by fiery ambition, the Knight of Wands is ready to take on the world and proclaim his spot amongst the best. Passionate about his path, he is fully committed to making his dreams come true. Bursting with enthusiasm, he is easily carried away by the allure of fame and gloomy glory and will rush into circumstances that will put him in first place. Balance out your impulses with rational thinking and think about the road ahead. Don't wait for things to come to you. Take every opportunity that you can get. Forging forward with speed can free you from second guessing your actions. Although you may not know what is next, the Knight of Wands encourages you to swiftly move forward, be up for the adventure, and see what's next. All right, so I mean, I'm hearing full on that, like, I want you thinking about how much money you want to be making three years from now and figure out like what the breakdown is going to be for you to make that next year. Yeah, it's a super ADHD card. Absolutely. Yeah. I mean the, the flip side is all about impatience, carelessness and rashness. Like how much more ADHD can you get living moment to moment? The Knight of Wands reversed indicates a loss of control through his impatience and reckless behavior. Impulsive actions lead to mistakes. Rushing ahead without thinking about possible repercussions. Okay, so you want to charge baby prices. That's your impulse right now. It's going to cause problems for you later. It's not actually going to help you in the long run. Frustration and anger arise with every delay that occurs and only get worse as time rolls along. Taking risks pushes you ahead, but there are times to be cautious as well. Failure to think ahead has you scrambling to manage the day to day activities with more wasted energy used to put out fires. Yeah, so if you start off charging baby prices, guess what's going to happen? You're going to create a lot of financial difficulty for yourself that you're going to have to scramble to figure out. I did need to hear that too though. Okay, good, good. Let me finish this. Okay. Failure to think ahead has you scrambling to manage the day to day activities with even more wasted energy used to put out fires. Realign back to your vision and give yourself time to structure a plan. You deserve to succeed. Which means properly thinking through each step and how to implement it. Have patience. You will get to where you need to go in time. All right. Yeah, Patience. You know, I had a roommate named Patience once and I could not stand her. It was my freshman year of college and she was the most annoying human in the world. Like I, I understand why her parents had to name her patients like it was ugly. She moved out halfway through her semester. She didn't like me and our other roommate either, but. It was rough. But yeah, I mean, starting a business, I know we all want it to happen overnight and we kind of figure, okay, well, I'll start here where I'm comfortable, and then I'll grow as my comfort level grows. Well, honey, like your comfort level is going to stay wherever you are, right? Like everything you do, like is going to be outside your comfort zone until all of a sudden your comfort zone expands to be there. Haha. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're lucky you don't have to have a room and a roommate named Patience. You're just getting a card that's calling you out for this. It's way easier to learn that lesson. I'm Going to take one more question and then I'm going to wrap it up for the night. So whatever question you have about your business, about your money mindset, please pop in the chat. I will answer strategically and then I will also pull a card for you. So whoever has a question, please don't be shy. I would love to answer any question you have, but this will be my last one for the night. So ask now or forever hold your peace. Not forever, until like the next live I do on this. If I were to do this regularly. Curious. Is there a time or a day that works best to do this kind of stuff for people? If you have any thoughts on that, please also put that in the chat. Oh, okay. The hanged woman just keeps popping out for us that don't know what to do with that. Oh, God. Okay. And death. All right, well, I'm gonna read these cards while I'm waiting to see if anyone has a question. So we got the five of Pentacles. Very pensive. Very. Spending time on her own tarot Thursdays. I love that. That's actually not a bad idea. Yeah. Okay, so five of Pentacles. Okay, guys. The five of Pentacles is abandonment, misfortune and loss. Trials and tribulations. This is a time of loss, deficits, and hardship. Okay, Talking about money for real. This economic downfall has hit you hard and you are feeling your self esteem plummet along with your cash flow. You may feel abandoned by others, left alone to fend for yourself. The doors are closed, causing you to question the universe or even yourself. Set aside your ego and ask for help. You'd be surprised how many people are willing to support you in periods of trouble. This loss may be outside your control, but ask yourself what enabled this misfortune to occur? Take personal responsibility over your loss and look toward how you can build yourself back up again. Change your attitude about money and develop a positive mindset to attract it back to you. Adversity will only make you stronger. It's amazing. So we're doing this tarot card reading on money, on money mindset, and most of the cards we've pulled have named money. Not all the cards in this deck do, but that's a really strong one. You know, on the flip side, Upside down is all about financial recovery, perseverance, and rebuilding wealth. You know, so perseverance through challenging times does make a massive difference when you. When you just persevere, when you just like continue working. And remember, nothing bad lasts. Nothing good lasts either. Right? But if you're going through a hard time financially right now. I want you to take a big deep breath. It's not going to last. It's going to end, all right? It's going to pass. Just like fall is passing right now and winter will pass after that and spring after that, okay? Nothing lasts, okay? Including, like, me being so stuffed from dinner right now, the hanged Woman. I mean, this is basically holding yourself in limbo. It's upside down again. You know, you get to choose how long you want to stay in this limbo. And also, like, if there's shit that you have to learn from, maybe some bad things happening, this is the time to do it. That's self reflection. It's time for you to kind of like, look at the past, understand really what happened, and figure out how you can prevent it from happening again. And then finally, death. Death is not actually death in tarot. Like, I'm not saying you're gonna die. That's not not how it works. Let me see. All right. Oh, okay. So death represents change ending in rebirth. No, it says this. No, you're not going to die. That's just a common misconception of the death card. Death indicates an end to an aspect of your life, which hopefully that aspect is you being shitty with money or treating money badly, which can range from a job to a relationship. Death must occur in order for you to have a new beginning, shifting you forward into a transition period of rebirth and renewal. The cycle of death is quite natural and can be seen in nature transforming throughout the different seasons. Like I just said, like nature, you are also going through a transformation that will be of great significance. Change is coming, sweeping the past to the side so that you can embrace the opportunities of the future, clear the clutter, and let go of what's not serving you in order to make room for a new life. When one door closes, another one opens. There is no life without death. Okay, I can't think of a better way to say that. When we really work on a relationship with money, what we're really doing is we're breaking up with the person that we were that was bad with money. We're breaking up with that mindset, with those belief systems. We're acknowledging that that person had to, like, believe a certain way to survive to a certain point, right? But we're also saying, you know what? Like, that was not enough for me. I didn't want to just survive. I didn't want to just suffer through and, like, force myself to work as hard as I possibly could for as little as I could possibly make. I'm not okay with that anymore. And so I need to put that part of me aside. They're no longer going to be running my life. I'm going to choose a new way to be with money, and that new person is going to be far more powerful. Right. But that new person cannot take the stage, cannot be the person in charge if that old person is still around. Right. So, like the death card here, it's a big wake up call that however you've been with money up until now, it is going to hold you back from whatever it is that you're going to be doing in the future. So whatever it is, if you want to do an inventory of your beliefs around money. So I'm. I'm okay. I'm gonna. I'm gonna, like, confuse you with stuff. If you're curious about doing work around your money relationship and you need help building your business, then DM me or book a generate income strategy call and I will point you in the direction of some incredible money work that you can do either with me or with other resources in the world. I think we're gonna wrap it with that one. Andrea, thank you so much for all your great questions. And Javi and I want to say thank you to Emmanuel. I think you're still here.
