Foreign. Hello and welcome. I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and money mindset coach. Coming to you live on all places except, except for TikTok. Don't have verification on TikTok to go live yet, but when I do, I'm going to take over the world anyway. I'm going live to the Facebooks, to LinkedIn, to YouTube, to Twitter, and to Instagram over here. You guys can't see this on my desktop. I have my phone over here. We're trying all these different setups. I hope it's not too distracting that I'm looking at two different places. Anyway, I have some exciting news, everyone. I'm so thrilled, thrilled, thrilled, thrilled beyond imagination to announce that I hopefully I'm gonna get to meet some of you in person on April 27th of this month. Because it's April and there's a 27 in April. We're gonna be hosting. We, David Fryman and I are going to be hosting a happy hour in Justin. Oh, my gosh. I hope, I hope you are actually coming. Talking about the happy hour. So we're going to be hosting a happy hour in New York City in Chelsea. We're super excited to potentially meet some of our friends that we've only ever known on the interwebs. After the last few years, it's incredible how we've really shifted our social lives. I want to go back to in person. Okay. I'm just making that happen. Okay. So on the 27th, this happy hour is in Chelsea. Tickets are $35. It does cover that first hour having an open bar. So you do want show up on time. The event, I'm saying, goes from like 4 to 7, but really, like, if you want to hang out, hang out. Just keep drinking or else they're going to charge us for more. Hi, David. Welcome. So I am so, so excited. David Fryman's going. Lauren Lefkowitz just told me that she's coming. Also, some of my most favorite humans and also some people who I really don't know that well, but I've always, always wanted to hang out with Justin. You are one of them. You got your. Get your dancing shoes on, McManus. Oh, God. Are we dancing? I'm not a very good dancer. I don't have cool, cool shoes. 35American dollars. Or can we pay in Mexican pesos? I mean, I, if you can get Eventbrite to accept Mexican pesos, then I say sure. But I, I, I personally don't handle conversions very well. Anyway, super thrilled about that. The other thing that I'm doing while I'm in New York, I have always, well, not always since the pandemic shut down, me doing stuff in person. I used to work with clients in person all the time. It is the most fun thing to be able to like just destroy a wall with a bunch of like post its and take over a little space and really like be together and dive into some work. So this is the first time I'm ever doing this for a business strategy. I'm so excited. I'm offering four six figure year strategy sessions while I'm in New York and I'm hosting them in person in SoHo. So if you are working in your business, realizing that you aren't getting the traction that you want, you had big goals for this year and we're almost halfway through and you're like, shit, I am nowhere near reaching my goal by the end of the year. This is for you. So it's a two hour session. You have full. You're fully welcome to record it if you want to. We're going to dive deep in your business, baby. We are going to assess like all the things that you're doing wonderfully and that you need to double down on. And also the stuff that is a massive waste of time that you should cut out. We are going to create that roadmap for you to hit six figures this year in 2023, even if you have not made any money up until now. We're gonna set up a plan that is designed to help you get there. We're also going to make sure that, you know, there's no doubt in your mind the things that you need to be covering and doing over the next six months. There's no guesswork. So if you want to book one of these, like I said, there are only four. There are three on Friday and one on Saturday. Because let's be real, like I'm going to be in New York. I want to have fun while I'm there. There, there are restaurants I want to eat at, there are museums I want to see. There's just like, you know, general shenanigans that I want to get up to. But no dancing, Justin, you'll embarrass yourself first. Okay, great. If you embarrass yourself first, then I will embarrass myself second, I promise. So I have to share. When I went to one of the LinkedIn Locals in Connecticut this past summer, I showed up and I was not wearing. It was a three hour drive, so I didn't wear my winning costume the whole way. But when I got there in the parking lot I put on my hot dog costume and I walked into the bar wearing a hot dog costume. It was the most fun thing ever. I don't know if I'm going to do that in New York. We'll see. There could be a hot dog signing sighting, who knows. But I am super excited to see everyone. Justin, Deal. Is this a deal about dancing or about hawk dog costumes? I wasn't paying attention while I was talking to the comments but let's, let's talk about how important it is to have community, how important it is to have business besties and events like this. Events like the happy hour that we're hosting are an opportunity for just that. So let me tell you, I have, I have a few business besties. Let me talk about Kelsey. Let go. She is another coach. So she and I went to the coactive training institute together. She's absolutely incredible. If you are looking for someone who's more in the life coaching space, she is your woman. She's also getting trained as a hypnotherapist and I'm really excited because I get to be your guinea pig and guide guys. Like I had the very first hypnotherapy session with her that she has ever done with someone that wasn't in her class and she's incredible. Okay, already just one session. She's really, really good so keep an eye on that. But she is one of my business besties. You know, she and I started our businesses around the same time. I actually think she and I might be the only two. There might be another person, a few other people, maybe a couple other people that we were in those trainings with. I mean these trainings have like 120 people in them overall. I think we're the only ones that have full time coaching businesses. So the coaching industry really needs to get serious about helping new coaches start their businesses. But hi, I help that too. So maybe not. Maybe that would shoot my business in the foot. So maybe don't listen to that guys anyway. But she's my go to whenever I have, you know, a hard day or I want to celebrate something or I just have a question about how she would handle things. Having someone to bounce ideas off is so critical to your success. Hold on. Michael Fox. Michael Fox, That's a great name. It's so good to have others in a similar space as you. Keeps you grounded and motivated. Ignorance. Zach Lee. Michael. Yes. You know what I'm talking about. Maryland Sazid Great session. Oh, thank you. I appreciate that. But anyway, so we call each other all the time. Well, I'm an extrovert, she's an introvert, so I call her a good portion more than she calls me. But it's fine. We've designed it in our friendship anyway. But we never would have built this relationship if we hadn't met in person. Right? We. I don't think we would ever, ever had a way to come across each other online. Like, we really had to meet in person. And so if you are out there struggling alone and you know that you'll be so much more grounded and with it and excited for what you're up to every day. If you had friends that you could turn to and touch base with and celebrate with and complain about, you know, humans with, I urge you to come to the happy hour if you're in the New York area or if you're willing to make the journey. Because we're specifying that this is for entrepreneurs. Okay? If you're not an entrepreneur and you really want to come and we, you know, we're happy to have you, but we're marketing it as only for entrepreneurs. Okay? So that means you have prime business bestie potential at this event, okay? You don't want to miss out on that. That's going to be worth its weight in gold. She's imagining people being like, well, this person. Does. Does this person weigh as much as they would in gold? Michael, when are we going to Australia? Oh, my God. I. I really want to go to Australia. That has to happen at some point. Hopefully in the next year. I have friends who live in Melbourne. I. My ex boyfriend's mom lives in Sydney. Would it be weird for me to go and hang out with Margaret? Margaret, if you're watching this. Hi. She watches my stuff sometimes. She's really sweet. Anyway, she's a knitter and I just adore her for that. Anyway, yeah, no, I really want to go to Australia. The things that I'm. I'm concerned about when thinking about going to Australia, like, everyone is spiders. I've heard you guys have really, like, gnarly spiders that could, like, kill someone really easily. The crocodiles that can be in the salt water, like, what the is that about, right? We already have great white sharks here, so yes, great. More of the same. And don't you guys have, like, really poisonous snakes also? I don't know. But yes, I want to come to Australia, but I just. I need someone. Michael, if you can find someone who will check my shoes While I'm there, just like, you know, make sure there's nothing inside those shoes. Every single time I put my shoes on, I will come sooner than later. Anyway, let me want to do a LinkedIn live in Australia. I also want to do one in San Francisco. That's my old stomping grounds. I actually used to like organize this. I don't even know if you'd call it a happy hour. It was just like Friday nights down at Fort Mason. So Fort Mason is an old fort, obviously and they have all this like convention space. There's also like an improv theater there. And on Friday nights they used to do these food trucks and it was just this huge food truck party. And you know, there'd be like 30 different options for stuff. They'd have music and there's a bar there called the Interval and it's actually owned by a nonprofit. And I used to just like organize friends to like meet there around 6pm every Friday. We'd have some drinks. We'd like, you know, take turns watching stuff and going to grab food and bring it in. Because you could eat in the bar. Macy. Michael. Yes, all the above. Mostly in the bush though. Okay, so I just won't go in the bush. You're going to put a job posting on LinkedIn for professional shoe checkers. I appreciate that. I'll give you dates so you can be a little more specific. We'll also have to create a budget for that, I think. Would it be wrong for me. No, just kidding. I was gonna say would it be wrong for me to charge like for the event so that I could pay someone to check my shoes? But I don't think I would go that far. That would come out of my own pocket, guys. Don't worry. But anyway, Friday nights we used to do this thing. So we'd meet at the interval, we'd go and grab food and we just got to hang out and decompress after a really long week or even a really short week. It just, it was so nice to have that constant check in on Friday nights. And it's so funny. Hi, Utah Sparklers. I love that name. I don't know who you are, but welcome, Utah Sparklers. I want. Oh my God, that just reminds me of 4th of July. Anyway, but I just, I cannot wait to be settled somewhere where I have that group of friends again because I've been moving around. The pandemic made it weird and I'm not in California anymore and I just, I want that. And so I'm going to Continue until I have that. Long story short, I'm gonna continue to do LinkedIn locals wherever I go. We're gonna. I'm going to do a tour of the US and the world, hopefully, and see everyone. It would be so much fun. But like I said, for those of you who are just joining, welcome. On April 27th, I'm hosting a happy hour in New York City in the Chelsea neighborhood with the amazing David Fryman, who is an incredible litigation attorney. If you ever feel like suing someone, he's your go to. Also nice person. He's fun to, like, go and grab a beer with anyway. But we're hosting that on the 27th. It starts at 4pm okay. We're keeping it early 4pm to 7. That first hour, like I said previously, that first hour is a hosted bar. Okay. It is open bar. Okay. So tickets are $35 and it covers all that. And then, of course, you know, we're going to be there for a while, so you can buy your own drinks after that, hopefully. Anyway, with that little update, I'm going to leave you to your Monday because that's really all I had to say. Just wanted to invite you to the party and maybe come and hang out with me. What is this, 4 27? 23. 23 McManus Best. Oh, man. Yeah, I don't know. Would people come to a McManus Fest? I don't know. That sounds like it's for people that only have the last name McManus. Which. That would be fun. That would be fun, like hosting, like, just only people who have the last name McManus. And then as a preamble to the event, everyone could do a DNA test and we could see if anyone's actually related who doesn't know they're related. Oh, my God, you just gave me such a great idea. Justin. Stephen. Oh, hi. Welcome. Adios, Justin. And hi, Jason. Welcome. I always feel bad when I'm winding down and people join because I feel like you missed the show. But you can always go back because I always save it. Well, unless I do something really embarrassing, then I delete it. But nothing embarrassing has happened so far on this live, so go back and watch it. What the hell, Jason? What the actual. What's that about, Justin? Ha ha. I'll be more inclusive next time. Shaking my head yes. Yeah, we have to be inclusive of people who don't have last name McManus. Right, right. Because, I mean, they're fine. People without the last name McManus are, are, you know, moderately good people. You know, we can't rule them out. Jason. Jason McManus. Jason, are you going to turn, change your name? We could be family. Jason Stephen Doyle. Okay, so this is bad news for me for my McManus Fest. Stephen Doyle who lives in Ireland. I'm the only McManus that he knows. McManus Fest could be a tiny, tiny event. That just doesn't apply. I want, I want a big event. If it's going to be McManus Fest, we're going to have to broaden it. We're going to have to find something else that is the common, the common thread here. Just realized my phone is like waving. Anyway, this is getting ridiculous, guys. I. I'm sorry, I'm not gonna hold you to this. Anyway, come to our party on April 27th in New York City. Oh, Jason. And your DNA profile. Yes. Yeah, send it in. Like we could be related. Who knows? But anyway, come to our party on April 27th. Even if you're across the pond, I invite you to fly to the States and hang out with us. And if you need help in your business, if you want to do an in person, two hour deep dive on how to grow your business this year, I have four sessions available and you can go and sign up for one. You don't even have to talk to me about it. Just go and sign up. How that works, actually, just so. Just if you're curious. So after you sign up, you'll actually get an email with a questionnaire so that I can actually custom design before we even sit down, the things that we're going to be covering based on what's already going on in your business and what your goals are for the year. So it's something that, you know, we're not just sitting down blindly. I'm going to do like a full social media audit. I'm going to go over your website. I'm going to look to see, like, what I'm already picking up from your business. And we're going to fine tune it in that two hours. So anyway, if you want that, please sign up. Like I said, there are only three on Friday and one on Saturday because after I'm gonna go and have some fun. Anyway, I love you all. Thank you for joining. I'm Katie McManus, business strategist and money mindset coach. Have a great night, everyone, and I will see you in my life tomorrow. I won't see you, you'll see me. But, you know, I'll see your names. Anyway, bye, everyone.
