So I discovered an alive baby possum in my guest bedroom. Ahhh! To my surprise, I didn't even know that this was possible. I called around to animal control, nothing was open. I called, um, an animal control guy that I knew, and he pretty much told me to try to grab it by the tail and put it back outside. I did want to remove it humanely. I pretty much just wanted, wanted it out of my house. And yes, I was terrified and disgusted, and I still couldn't wrap my mind around how this even happened. I heard about snakes entering the toilet, so I always kept my toilet seats down. This toilet seat had been down and the door closed in my guest room for probably 2 weeks, so it's no telling how long this baby possum was there. It was shaking and, and scared and terrified. So a lot of people were like, I would have been terrified, but believe me, the, um, This possum was more scared than me, and I just wanted it out my house. So I removed it and I put it in a corner, a shaded corner in my backyard. I can't tell if it's playing dead or if it's dying. I left him here because 2 weeks ago I saw a larger opossum in the same spot that I named Splinter. This is Splinter.
