In this December 2025 YouTube video, Loni of lonidesert.com showcases a 6.5‑foot gold‑finished wrought‑iron Christmas tree she purchased on Amazon. She explains why she chose a modern, needle‑free tree for a sleek, budget‑friendly holiday look, then walks through unboxing, assembling (including a quick 30‑minute build, handling a replacement due to missing arms, and using the included remote‑controlled lights and built‑in star topper), and highlights the ornate base and champagne‑tone finish. Loni shares her decorating strategy, mixing high‑ and low‑cost ornaments sourced from At Home, Walmart, and Dollar Tree, and using a black faux‑fur skirt, a Michaels bow, and strategic light placement to create a cozy, glam aesthetic that blends black, bronze, gold, silver, and white. She emphasizes the tree’s lightweight, sturdy construction, fast shipping, and affordability, and invites viewers to consider swapping traditional trees for this versatile piece that can stay up through spring.

I love Christmas, but this year I wanted something different. I wanted something easy, modern, and fabulous. No fluffing branches, no needles, just instant glam. And wait till you see how this gold beauty lights up my space. Hey y'all, it's Loni from lonidesert.com. You know I love a good luxe look for less, and this gold wrought iron Christmas tree I found on Amazon might just be the holiday glow-up I didn't even know I needed. Check it out. This is the exact one I ordered. It's 6.5 feet tall and comes in a wrought iron gold finish. As you can see, it's sold by numerous vendors in different styles, but in mostly black or gold. Just type in metal Christmas tree if you want to see what's out there. I got it in 2 days, so depending on your location, you still have time. I recommend ordering now because I had to get a replacement due to mine being a return with missing arms. So let's unbox my new Christmas tree. I'm so excited. Yay! This little corner is perfect for my new tree, and it doesn't take up much space at all. The tree arrived in this compact, lightweight box. The parts are wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the gold finish, and the arms are zip-tied together in sets. It even includes a string of lights with a remote, though I will need batteries. The star on top is built in, so no swapping that out. Oh, and yes, it does come with easy-to-follow instructions, which is literally a half page of photos. So the first thing is assembling the base, which is just the 2 screws, then screwing on the poles to the base in the order shown on the instructions. Unless you want a more narrow or shorter tree, you don't have to use all of the arms Nor do you need to use— nor is it required for you to use all of the poles. I actually ended up changing the order of my pole attachment later. Once all the poles are attached, it's simply popping on all the arms from the largest bundle to the smallest bundle, moving from the bottom to the top. Right out of the box, I'm honestly impressed. It's sturdy but still super lightweight, and this gold finish, way prettier than I expected. It has that soft champagne tone that just blends right in with my decor. What really sold me though is the base. Look how ornate it is. I saw a few other metal trees online with basic flat stands, but this one actually feels like decor all on its own. It's elegant, minimal, and the perfect solution for adding holiday charm without a big old bulky what the flocka tree taking over the room. The simplicity of it all and the price is a winner for me. I'm almost to the end, and I would say it takes less than 30 minutes to set up this tree, including unboxing it. I guess the top of the star is out of reach for me, and I'm needing a step stool to remove the silicone protectors from the sharp star. Also, I have an idea for an alternate topper, which I'll be sharing soon. So stay tuned, y'all. It's ornament time, y'all! These chic black ornaments were a clearance steal from At Home store last year. Love me a good deal. The silver stars and dark bronze ones, Walmart. The glam gold and bronze pine cones, Dollar Tree. You already know I mix high and low to get that luxe look for less. I'm also reusing some of my gold and silver faves from past years because good decor deserves an encore. So for my color palette, I went with black, Deep bronze, gold, silver, and a touch of white. It blends perfectly with my fall decor that stand up until spring. It's funny because some of y'all would say it's more Halloween than fall, but I say it's just fabulous. So stick around, I'm showing the full glow up next. Finishing up the tree, I layered my black faux fur throw underneath the tree to soften that look and show off these ornate gold legs. Instead of wrapping the string lights around the tree, I sprinkled them over the faux fur. It gives that whole setup this cozy glowing vibe. I grabbed this black glam bow from Michaels. They had a buy one, get 3 free deal this weekend. It clips right over the stars, so if I ever want to switch up the look, I've got options. And here she is, my minimalist glam Christmas tree moment. Who says you need flocked branches to make magic? I'm obsessed with how the black, bronze, gold, and silver all came together. It's giving modern cozy chic all at once. This setup is simple, budget-friendly, and so easy to switch up for any season. I'm definitely keeping her up through spring. Let me know in the comments if you'd trade your traditional tree for something like this, or how you decorate yours.
