If you could rewrite any rap song to be a sales parody, what one would it be?
I can't wait to hear this one.
I need to like this is the one.
Man, this is tough. I feel like I gotta go look at my playlist to make this. This is a hard one. I'm gonna go with Tupac on Ambitious, Ambitious, Ambitious. As a writer, I feel like that makes the most sense out of all the songs that I'm thinking of because there's so much in that song that fits very aligned with sales. I'm gonna go with that one.
Okay.
All right.
I like it. Like one that's been in my head for a long time, right. Is trying to hit quota by Q4. I want to redo Cruising down the street in my sixth. I want to redo that song for sure.
But like, this is like.
And I think this will be a fun thing to rap on. Ooh, look at me. Playing with words right now is like, these are things that I encourage people to do because they're fun and they keep you engaged. Right? Like, when I hear songs I think about all the time, how, how it could be rewritten for sales all the time. Because it's just a fun thing to think about and keeps you in that game. I think I've got lists of songs that I would love to redo. Right. For sale. I saw Ryan do one recently. Just hilarious. Which one? It was driving Dirty. Right? Right. Do you want to book a meet with Gravy? Trying to book a meat with Casey. I think that's a perfect thing to talk about because that is an experience. Does anyone here doubt whether one, he got the attention of Grave, his first goal? Two, do you think he got the attention of other companies that are curious on what the hell it is he does?
Yep.
Three, here we are sitting here talking about him. None of us even know what he sells, but we know who he is. Right. That's creating an experience. Right. Morgan even mentioned, like, it's not about the name. It's not about what it is. It's like he remembers the experience of the event. And I think if we can bring more of that. There's this old school line says people don't like to be sold, but they love to buy. And I disagree with that statement because when you work with a world class salesperson, how does it feel? It's an experience. You enjoy it. You look forward to it. You feel good from it because the experience is there. You feel more confident in. In your decision. There's less fear. You got what you wanted. You like working with a great salesperson who gives you the experience you're looking for. That's where I think we all need to dive in. I love that that's where Morgan took the hip hop. Because if you can create an experience and a brand that speaks to your listener.
Right.
Travis Scott fans probably has different fans than Da Baby. Is it Da Baby or the baby? Probably.
Well, there's Da Baby. There's Lil Baby. You know, there's a lot of babies.
Oh, I thought you were talking about duh Baby. I don't know who Lil Baby is.
There is a little baby.
Little baby. See?
All right.
I'm still not cool.
I was talking about Dub Baby, though.
Okay. You were talking about dubbed. Okay.
Right.
