If you've got an early morning lift or an early morning practice, you have to still be eating food beforehand. I have so many athletes asking me, "But I hate eating early in the morning. I'm not used to it. My stomach hurts. I hate eating close to practices or games." I get it, guys. Most people do. However, it's necessary and you gotta do it.
