BodyArmor has high carbs and low sodium for pre-game energy. Flash IV flips it: high sodium, low carbs, for heavy sweating and heat. Pick based on what your body needs right then.

What is the difference between a normal BodyArmor and a BodyArmor Flash IV? The biggest difference between these two drinks— this has a lot of carbs and not a lot of sodium. This has a lot of sodium and not a lot of carbs. So they are both good, but I have my athletes use them at different times. This drink is awesome when you need in-game carbohydrates, you're not sweating a ton, you just need to stay up on your carbohydrates. You can have it pregame, especially if you're behind on fueling for the day. This one is awesome because it's higher in sodium. Sodium is lost in your sweat, so the more you sweat, the hotter it is, the more intense your training session, this is what you're going to want. In the perfect world for me, where we take these two drinks and combine them together so you have the carbs and the right electrolytes for your training session. Hmm, maybe someone needs to make a drink like that someday.
