My MLB player eats this 2 hours before every single game, and it gave him so much energy that he no longer had to be taking pre-workout before the games. What that was is a post-BP meal, post-batting practice meal. Every game day they have practice, and then they have time to eat and get ready for the game before they have to warm up. We make sure that he's eating a meal in this timeframe so that he has the energy that he needs to get through the entire game without feeling hungry or fatigued at all. What we want this meal to look like is high carb, moderate protein, and moderate fat. This is a great option with the chicken giving us protein, potatoes and rice are giving us carbs. We got some color over here with the vegetables, and then it's cooked in fat. And so this is giving us an awesome source of all of these foods. Games are long, guys, especially baseball, football. You guys have to make sure that you're fueling your bodies ahead of time so that it's not hurting your performance later on in the game. The best form of pre-workout that you could ever take is food.
