Two people rate common athletic practices on a 1-10 scale. Carbs before practice and creatine get 10s. Training seven days a week, working out while sore, and 100 push-ups before bed get lower scores based on recovery and sleep needs.
Training 7 days a week.
6. It depends on how fast you can recover. It depends on what type of training you're doing. So let's just give it a 6.
Training while sore.
Maybe a 6 too. It all depends on context. Did you hit leg day and you're hitting leg day again? Are you not allowing yourself time to recover? Are you getting enough sleep and enough food? Sometimes it's okay to train while you're sore.
Eating carbs before practice.
10. Carbs are literally the gas that will fuel your entire workout.
100 push-ups before bed every night. 1.
You don't need that, especially if you're already training and doing other things. Just get to bed.
Creatine.
10. I love creatine.
Ice bath post-workout.
2. It's going to slow down blood flow. You need blood flow to help recover, so heat's going to be better than cold.
